For those who've tried both, which breakfast do you think is better--Boma or Kona Café?

I have to say, even though I voted Boma, Kona is a wonderful breakfast and you really can't go wrong with either one.

I'd pick based on convenience, because they're both good, but they really are on opposite ends of the World from each other.

Boma. Love the Samoan at Kona, but Boma has grilled tomatoes/asparagus. Carved meats, Boma mustard/sambal, fresh fruit, yummy juice, and a beautiful atmosphere.

I am a ho for breakfast buffets, I seem to want to graze most in the mornings, so I picked Boma. I hate having to choose just one thing to eat at breakfast!

It may really depend on if you want a buffet or not, both are good options in my opinion.

I voted for Kona because I am trying to watch what I eat and the offerings are smaller. BOMA is great as well but way too much food for me.

I think DH is leaning toward Boma, but I had heard good things about both so was looking for additional input. Thanks!

There is a very basic difference here. One (Boma) is a buffet and the other is table service. Its hard to compare the two because of that.

We went to Boma last time we were there and wouldn't go back. The buffet at CP was much better. Kona for the win.

Boma is one of my favorite spots. We tend to try to go here on every trip. The food is great. Kona Cafe is really good as well but for me I am more of a breakfast buffet person. Also as a pp mentioned since they are on different ends of WDW where are you coming from and where are you going next? You can go wrong with either one so which one would make more since with you plans?

Kona's Tonga Toast is delicious, but the past two times we've been there, we've been very disappointed with the service -- both in front of (poor, inattentive waitstaff) and in the kitchen (cold eggs, bread). We're not ruling the restaurant out for us completely, but we're giving it a few more visits before we check back in.

Boma is delicious for breakfast, so my vote would go there.

As much as we loved breakfast buffets, I had to vote for Kona. It is our favorite place for breakfast. We love getting an early adr before starting the day at MK. The macadamia nut pineapple pancakes are probably the best pancakes I have ever had!

We're getting in early on arrival day--not doing any parks--and had some time to kill before our friends arrive. We're staying at the Boardwalk, but thought we'd like to visit one of the other resorts since we've done breakfast in that area before and it was good, but nothing outstanding.
