Boma or Cape May Cafe for breakfast? There is 6 of us 4 adults and 2 kids age 5 & 7. (or you could say 4 kids, my Father has never grown up and I followed in his footsteps!! :rotfl2:)

I'd say it depends on what your looking for and maybe more importantly where you're staying.

Boma consistantly gets rave reviews on this board for being one of the best breakfasts on the property.

Cape May will be a Character BF and a buffet.

Just remember that where you're staying should have some impact what your choices should be. It is very hard to travel from resort to resort in the morning to eat breakfast (unless it's on the Monorail line). Do you want to eat early? Will you have enough time to travel over there? Etc.

I've never tried Cape May Cafe, but we did have a Boma breakfast last year and it was really good... And we thought the theme was a nice bonus. We had no trouble getting there.. I think we had an 8 AM ressie, and took the AK bus from our resort... since no one was traveling to AK that early we were the only two on the bus so we asked the driver if he could take us right to AKL, and he was happy to. :)

As others have said, I think it depends on what you're looking for.

Boma is at the gorgeous AKL, so you can check out the animals and the resort before or after your meal. If you're going for the food and want more than the standard character-meal breakfast, I'd definitely go for Boma. We've had dinner here at it was easily the best buffet we've had at WDW.

Cape May is a standard Disney character breakfast. I find the character breakfasts to be more crowded and chaotic than a buffet without the characters. And part of the cost goes to the characters, not the meal, so you get less (food-wise) than at a non-character meal. But, the characters are fun, the food plentiful, and the setting nice. It's also convenient if you're going to spend the day at Epcot or DHS since you can walk there from your breakfast (or take a boat).

:)

The food is aweome at both, we prefer Boma though...I have a ton of pics of both places in my Oct link
