Hi,
I have heard many rave reviews about Boma and would love to try it on our next trip (get to start making ARs tomorrow!!). The problem is that my DD is a very picky eater. Looking at the menu for Boma's, they do have mac and cheese on the menu. Can anyone tell me if it the boring, regular mac n cheese or of it has been tweeked a bit for this restaurant?

Jiko's kids menu is clearer and has food she'll eat, but I think I'd rather try Boma's if I know my DD will eat something there. Any other opinions?

Thanks!

My nephew is a very very picky eater. He eats the chicken tenders and mac and cheese at boma. He likes both here which is saying a lot.

The mac and cheese at Boma is pretty much the same as around the rest of DW, but it was pretty good. My DS is a picky eatter and requests to go to Boma each trip...The mac and cheese at Jiko is different and very good. DH and I ordered a side of the mac and cheese while DS ordered it off the kids menu. They were the same thing and soooo yummy!!! We love both of these restaurants and eat at them each time we go to DW!!! :goodvibes

Yeah! Thanks for the replies. Did any of you go from AK to Boma's for dinner? Since there are fewer options, that was what I was thinking to do. We figured the bus ride should be pretty short.

There was definitely a kids' section to Boma's pods. I remember seeing mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, and some kind of pasta in red sauce. I also think there *may*have been french fries.

Additionally, the soups were *fabulous* esp a chicken corn creamy chowder type one. Desserts were good, too.

the kids' menu at Boma is pretty standard:

mac & cheese
french fries
chicken wings/chicken strips (they rotate these)
penne pasta, meatballs and tomato sauce.

they also have chocolate chip cookies in the dessert section, fresh fruit in the fruit section. My youngest is super picky and last time we did Boma, we told our server he wasn't going to eat and she didn't charge us. He ate 2 strawberries off my plate, that was it. My other son got the chicken fingers and prime rib and fruit and he was happy.

My DD doesn't like mac n cheese anywhere at WDW because it doesn't taste like REAL mac n cheese (the kraft in the box with the orange powder :rotfl: ) She found plenty to each at Boma she liked
