I thought I was a little nuts when we agreed to go to Boma. I am a little fussy (although much better than I was), and was nervous that it would be full of my unholy trinity (tomatoes, mayo, and granola).

There was so much good food there I can't even begin to give it the credit it deserves. We had a fantastic meal and tried to sample a little of everything instead of filling up on one or two favorites. The only issue we had was the strange arrangement of the buffet lines. It was hard to determine who was waiting for what, and often you were stuck in line for something even though no one in front of you was waiting for it (the meat and dessert lines were the worst). Even this wasn't too bad.

So, here's so photos to help show it off.

Starters
I started with a Coconut Curry Soup, which was fantastic. I know there were tomatoes in there, and I don't care. I loved it. She started with a small salad and variety of hummuses (hummi?). All three were great, but she liked the white bean the best. She tried the seafood soup after that, which was great as well. Oh yeah, don't forget the beer.

Sides
Way too many to mention, so I just grabbed a plate of them. All were delightful. There were warm sides and cold sides. Fufu was the best for me.

Main Courses
Bring on the meat and fish!

Desserts
Dessert was the weakest part of the meal, but I was so full I really didn't care.

We will definately make a return trip when we go back. It was a great experience. It is a pain to get to without a car. We were at PO Riverside, and had to jump buses to get to it.

Looks good! Thanks for sharing.

DH does not like buffets, so I doubt I will get to do dinner there, but if we ever stay at AKL, I will try it out for breakfast. :)

Love Boma. Fufu is so easy to make at home and kids love it. It's our first ADR on our trip in a few days. Can't wait!

Thanks for the review and pictures - we have reservations for Boma the night we arrive. We are staying in Kidani Village and we usually like to take it easy on the day we get to WDW. We usually stop and get some groceries for the room on the way in, hit the pool for the afternoon, and have a nice dinner to kick off the vacation. We have heard so many good things about Boma...and our countdown is under two weeks!!!
