Has anyone tried the breakfast buffet at Boma? Is it worth trying to get there from the WL for breakfast before heading to the AK? The menu on All Ears Net looks VERY impressive. I have one extra table service credit for our December trip and would like to use if for a big, hearty breakfast so we can have a snack for lunch and then head to our dinner at 1900 Park Fare. (A lot of food in one day - I know!)

Thanks so much!

Whew! That will be a lot of food! I love Bomas breakfast. It is at the top of my list now. Taking DH there for the first time next month, it will be our departure day breakfast (right before we leave for the airport). We are staying at CSR, so I don't think the transportation from the WL will be all that different. Make sure you try the Frunch juice. It is out of this world!

Yes it is worth it, especially since you will be going to AK afterward, which is only a hop, skip and a jump away...ummm actually a short, short bus ride away lol.

Make sure you get on the earliest bus from WL to AKL if you can manage it, since it is so wonderful to explore AKL a bit before (or after) you eat.

Another yes vote for Boma breakfast. DH and I ate their this past February at 8:00 and then headed over to AK. We ate very well and did not have to eat again until around 2:00pm. It is a wonderful buffet and I agree with another poster don't forget to try the Frunch!!!

this buffet was not one of our favs during our last visit (we had ADR's for each day). it wasn't *amazing* food. the pasrties had been out a while (dry). we really enjoyed Cape May better. the seasoned potatoes at CM were dee-lightful!

It's worth the trip. I didn't love it, but it was more a matter of personal taste than quality of food. The rest of our group really liked it. It's always fun to check out some other resorts too.

Earlier today I made ADR for us to have bfast at Boma following our first night at WDW. Everyone keeps telling me I need to have bfast there and this thread confirms it! We'll be there next week.... very much so looking forward to it! :) Thanks SCANNE for asking and for everyone's feedback!

Boma Breakfast is definitely a favorite of mine!!! Make sure you try the Frunch. It is a combination of juices that is to die for!

Dont want to hijack the thread but I too am a Cape May lover...do you think I will be disappointed with Boma? ANother question, is there alot of fruit like at Cape May?

Possibly the best breakfast we've had at WDW! The made to order omlettes are worth the trip by themselves! And then you would be very close to AK after breakfast.

I've only been to breakfast there and we LOVE it!! There is some delicious food there. There's something for everyone: wild and exotic, all-American, and the plain old cereal and fruit.

You can't go wrong!

Not to mention, the French press of Kenyan coffee is to die for!

Anyone have any pics of what type of food is served.

We plan at least one breakfast everytime we are at WDW :teeth:

Claire ;)

We always eat Breakfast there on the day we depart Disney - I find the Frunch and Kona pressed pot coffee helps ease the "now it's time to say goodbye" blues....

We just got back from our trip and although the food at Boma was good, I wouldn't call it delicious. The service was terrible. Our waitress brought coffee but no mugs. She never came back until we were sitting there waiting to ask for our checks. It was a 7:45 ADR and the place was practically empty so it's not like she was overloaded with tables. The frunch punch juice was good.

We weren't on the meal plan, so I don't think it's worth the money -- after 15% tip it was over $42. We don't plan on eating breakfast there again. I think it's over-rated.

we are eating here for the first time on our October trip and are very excited! Thanks for all the good reviews!
