Boma do you see animals?

When you go to Boma do you see the animals outside of your restaurant window?
I am trying to find some interesting or unique dining experiences. It is me and 2 children(7 and 5). The only reason I was considering Boma is if the animals are close by while you are eating.
Any pictures of how close you are?

No, unfortunately.

You won't see the animals from the restaurant, but you can see them before and after your meal. There are several public balconies where you're allowed to go and check them out.

From what I remember the pool area is right outside Boma. Mostly you see foliage.

No but you can take advantage of the trails before or after dinner, there are some really nice views from them.

We went to see the animals while we were waiting for our table and then viewed them with the night-vision goggles after our meal. It was pretty cool even though there weren't that many animals on the savannah!
