Boma Breakfast or Dinner?

As we're starting to make our ADR list, my DH and BFF both have specific requests and are leaving the rest up to me. DH thinks Boma sounds amazing and we had been planning on going there for dinner, but we're pretty heavy on dinner choices and I've heard so many good things about Boma breakfast and my DH loves breakfast. It's probably his favorite meal of the day.

So, I was wondering if maybe Boma breakfast was a better idea and we can do something else for dinner? DH says he's fine either way and will leave the final decision up to me. So which is better? Dinner or breakfast? My oldest tends to be better with breakfast foods, but obviously I'd have to feed him either way, so that doesn't really matter and the advantage with a buffet is I can always find SOMETHING to feed him.

We'll have a car with us, so won't be depending on buses if that makes a difference. We'll also be on the DDP, so cost isn't a huge factor (though if we go breakfast, we'll probably pay OOP).

Oh boy, Boma is wonderful for both breakfast and dinner. That said, if your dinner list is full, then have breakfast there - don't skip Boma completely!

They are both fantastic-one of our favorite buffets in all of Disney. What park or resort are you considering for dinner, if not here? That would influence my answer.

I'm no help because I love both meals at Boma. This is a good problem to have because you can't make a bad decision IMO.

Boma for breakfast is something special.

There are many other very good options for dinner.

My vote - Boma for breakfast.

We have eaten at Boma for dinner many times, and loved it. Both picky and adventurous eaters can have tons of choices, and my family has both! Then when we stayed at AKL a few weeks ago we decided to try Boma for breakfast on a rainy morning, and both my DH and I agreed it was the best breakfast buffet we've had at WDW. It had your typical breakfast foods, but also some new and interesting ones as well. If you're staying at the AKL I would do both. if you aren't, I would do whichever fits into your schedule better, and if you have a trip in the future to the opposite. I will say the atmosphere in the morning was much more calm and relaxed, which I really liked (we ate late AM). At dinner it is extremely busy and chaotic. Breakfast had the best tater tots I have ever eaten. I thought it was weird that I loved the tater tots - I mean, it isn't a middle school cafeteria! - but then I overheard the lady at a table near us say the exact same thing so I guess it wasn't just my family!

I'm so torn. Boma dinner was a must do, but now I'm thinking breakfast sounds good and would give us another dinner option. I really can't decide. We're not staying at AKL, or both would be a legitimate option.

Breakfast & then check out the resort, there maybe some actitives your kids can do Animal Tracking very fun, the music one is good too.

I think they are equally good for different reasons. The breakfast is amazing and still has some traditional African/Middle Eastern foods, but also all the standards and made to order omelettes. However, if I had to pick just one I'd probably do the dinner. It's really amazing - such a great variety.

You really can't go wrong. Also, the brunch runs until 11 so you can have a late brunch and treat it as lunch.

Side question Sorry. How similar are the Boma breakfast items to the Tusker house breakfast items? We have a res for our favorite character breakfast at Tusker House and we are staying at AKL so on our chill day we will be eating at the resort but if they are that similar in food we'll probably chose somewhere else. We've been to BOMA for dinner so we may just grab something by the pool for a late breakfast and do BOMA for dinner. Thoughts?

TH and BOMA breakfast are similar, though not identical. I can't imagine staying at AKL and not eating there, though. At least for one meal. We often eat there multiple times when we stay at AKL. Two dinners and one breakfast over 8 days is pretty common for our family. But, if you really don't want to duplicate menu items, I think TH is very similar.

We love Boma breakfast! My husband has it as a must do every trip. I don't think you would go wrong with any meal there.

Boma breakfast is a must do.for us...even when not staying at akl. Multiple busses early in the am? Worth it :). Grilled.tomatoes and asparagus, ham and sambal = my go to.

My husband is a fan of doing both. I think we're leaning towards dinner and maybe doing Tusker House for breakfast instead or just doing both.
