TK looks like he can play a wayyyyyyyyyyyy better Ridge than Ron Moss. I could never ever figure out how Moss remained in that role for so long. I thought he was so borrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnng!!!!!

Ron Moss was not a good actor, I have to agree with that. But he was Ridge from the beginning of the show and for the past 25+ years.
I'm not sure how I'll like having a new Ridge.

His acting has had me laughing in hysterics for years on end. Oh, the memories.

I just caught an episode tonight from this week. Wow, is all can say. Liam's acting - Hope's acting - the writing of the scene where he says "If you are mad with me - even if you hate me - YOU BRING IT BACK TO ME". Just superb. Some writer understands relationships. And they both were bang on.

Totally caught me off guard because there are so many ridiculous scenes and episodes lately. And it's a soap.

I'm twenty something years out of university and I had a reunion last month and got to visit/stay in a former apartment. I laughed about B and B. while I looked up at someone's else's place. I had three male - laughing because they regularly watched - neighbours who were gaga over Brooke. Just head over heels over hormones. They would sit on their balcony and fantasize openly about her. In tandem.

And to think all these years later - she's still there and still on it.

OMG, I totally missed *hideous scarfs* on the first read. Priceless.

• One year after Ronn Moss resigned from his 25-year role as Ridge Forrester on "Bold and Beautiful," the widely popular Thorsten Kaye has been cast to resume the part. Kaye, who portrayed Zach Slater on "All My Children," both on television and most recently, on its Internet resurrection, became available when his contract was up and "AMC's" return for a second series online was uncertain. The actor, who also played important roles on "One Life to Live" and "Port Charles," is set to make his B&B debut in mid-December.

The Week of November 4 - 8

Distracted by his anger toward Katie, Bill comes close to death while climbing in Aspen.

Bill's near-fatal accident leads to revising his plans for the future, which takes Katie by surprise.

Meanwhile, Brooke intends to do what's necessary to reunite her broken family.

Rick and Caroline begin making wedding plans.

Carter asks a favor of Rick, resulting in Maya regaining her job as Hope for the Future spokes-model, much to Caroline's dismay.

Wyatt's involvement with the disappearance of the diamond gains publicity for Forrester and Hope.

Leaving her impressed, Hope looks to Wyatt to be her hero.

Donna spies Quinn and Eric in a compromising position.

Maya steps up to Caroline's challenge of who will make it to the altar first.

A tragedy forces Liam and Wyatt to put their differences aside.

COMING: Bill resets his priorities -- but will it last?

• Ridge Forrester (soon to be portrayed by "All My Children" alum, Thorsten Kaye) isn't the only one returning to "Bold and Beautiful" in December. Having taken a break from the show last spring to pursue outside projects, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) is back taping on the sudser, and will first re-appear on Thursday, December 12.

NOVEMBER SWEEPS (from Soap Opera Digest)

"November sweeps will see lives and loves turned upside down," promises Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley P. Bell. "And a couple in love decides to marry sooner than they originally intended."

Bill/Brooke/Katie: In Aspen, "Bill quickly gets himself into a tight predicament; one that could either end his life or change its course forever." As the Spencer brothers vie for the love of Hope, she gets a new protégée at the office, her cousin Aly Forrester. Aly idolizes Hope and watches in fascination as her successful cousin works the runway, the fashion press and her two battling suitors."

Rick/Caroline/Carter/Maya: "Now that both Caroline and Rick, and Maya and Carter, have become engaged, what's left to argue over other than who will be the better bride? Caroline and Maya both allow their inner 'Bridezilla' to be revealed."

Eric/Quinn/Donna/Pam/Charlie: "Pam finds new romance and shares a mutual love of baking with her beau, Charlie. Donna sets her sights back on Eric, but has not bargained on incurring the wrath of Quinn."

The Week of November 18 - 22

When Wyatt turns up unannounced at Liam's romantic picnic for Hope, the rivalry between the brothers nearly spins out of control.

Quinn overhears Bill express to Wyatt his support for Hope and Liam's relationship and challenges him about favoring Liam.

Having thwarted Liam's efforts to get back with Hope, Wyatt confronts him about Bill's interference.

Brooke and Katie put in extra effort to repair their damaged relationship.

Katie and Bill try to find a way to move forward.

Bill is determined to get back something he recently lost.

Caroline and Carter wonder if Maya and Rick have resolved all their feelings.

Faced with Donna's knowledge of her role in the Steffy video, Quinn justifies her actions.

Aly (Ashlyn Pearce) returns home from law school and shares a happy reunion with Thorne and Eric.

After Eric offers Aly a job at Forrester, he and Thorne deliver good -- and bad news to her.

• Per Soap Opera Digest, B&B is seeking someone to play Annie, a Caucasian, Chinese or Hispanic woman in her early-to-mid-20s. She is described as "beautiful, smart, sexy, naughty, opportunist." The role is recurring, but could become contract.

‪SOD *SPOILER* Jacqueline MacInnes Wood says she decided to leave Bold and Beautiful after working on it for 5 years. Jacqui says it was time to make a change, she decided to make the leap because she didn't want to look back with regrets & this was her me time, she wanted to do a few projects but also travel & then she got the opportunity to do just that when E! Contacted her about travelling around Europe & thought she just had to do this, she loved being able to do this & then come back home to B&B.

When asked how long she’s back for this time, Jacqui says she believes it’s for 5 episodes. Steffy is in the process of moving forward but she still has feelings for Liam because she never really got closure. There is that, what if in the back of Steffy’s mind. She doesn't know the turmoil her video tribute has caused for Liam & Hope & she starts to realize this & knows she still has effect on them.

At the moment Steffy is oblivious to the current triangle of Liam Hope & Wyatt but a little mouse may come into the picture to make her wonder whether or not to get involved or distance herself further.

When asked if she is coming back full time. Jacqui say’s that’s still up in the air (laughs) but goes on to say she loves being able to come back, and there could possibly be more things ahead. She says she loves her fans & see’s their tweets & thanks us all for supporting her & coming along on the ride with her PartyOn
