Hello,

Just a couple of questions.

Has anyone done the Boggy Creek Airboat ride? Is it worth doing? Also In Seaworld, the Makahiki Luau dinner & show. It looks great, but some opinions from any of you that have done it would be great.

Thanks

8 wks to go :cool1:

The Boggy Creek Airboats are fantastic, we didn't have enough time to go to the Everglades so we booked a trip here. It was so exhilarating, never done anything like that before, and we saw some allegators. Well worth the trip and money.

Seconded. We've been 3 times. Choose the early morning rides during the week - you get to see more gators that way. At weekends there are lots more craft out on the lake and the wildlife tends to get out of the way. Late morning and afternoons are hot - so the gators tend to stay underwater - and out of sight.

Look out for discount coupons in the various guides - you can save on the ticket prices.

i can reccomend them as well, my mum got to ride up top !! it was a fantastic experiance and one i would not miss :)
the people there are really friendly and you will have a great time

Thanks for your replies, that's made our minds up to go. Just hoping now that someone can help with the seaworld show :cool1:

^^ that's what i was going to ask. i'm going at what is meant to be a quiet time of the year if that helps.

I would have to be one on one with the gators to get anything out of this trip . I am a reptile fan....venomous or not.....

The East Lake Toho ones are supposed to be the best.

were off in December for 3 weeks and looking for non disney things to do? there are four of us in the party 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 2.
i have heard this is quite noisy any advice?

They are noisy, but you should get headphones or something to block the noise. They are really fun and I am sure the children will love it, mine did.

Don't worry
They provide you with ear protectors and safety eye goggles!

Boggy Creek are currently concentrating on their Southport Park location, with the addition of the Swamp Buggy tour (which has become extremely popular! Book ahead if possible). We visit them often and have not only had excellent service but also feel like part of the family. They are the most welcoming group we have come across.

Boggy Creek do provide ear protection (much needed on an airboat!). Give their nightime tour a try if you have done the daytime tour. It's quite a different experience.

Hi we did both the air boat ride and the sea world luau (sp) enjoyed both, but keep your mouth closed on the airboat as heading at 40mph towards a large dragon fly is dangerous lol.
On to the sea world luau, we went as a large group 7 adults and 3 boys 14 11 and 5. I was not too sure if the boys would enjoy but they were mesmerised ( pretty girls ) the food was excellent and plentifull drinks ie cocktails about $7 each the show was interesting and gave us a taste of Hawaii (would luve to go )

All in all a good night much better than Fort Liberty.

Tip get early as you can have a photo taken (we all wore Hawaii type clothing)
