BOG with no ressie

I have tried to get BoG for lunch in August since 180 day mark with no often rechecking/watching cancel thread etc..I was wondering do they take walk ins/has anyone tried to walk in, or does it book solely with ADRs?

Have you tried Touring Plans' Reservation Finder? I don't have any experience with trying walk ins.

We successfully got walk-ins there when it originally opened - we went to the desk as soon as cast members were there. Be diligent and keep looking. As people nail down their plans there are bound to be some pop up. I will say that we often get last minute reservations the week of our trip where people change their plans last minute.

Check the day before. I haven’t heard good luck for walk ins, but they have let us add on a person m, so maybe try for one person less than you need.

Keep checking especially 30 days out from your vacation (packages must be paid in full, or are cancelled). 5 days out room only reservations must be cancelled without involving a penalty and finally 24 to 48 hours before wanting to dine, cancellation and no show fee applies. Also, sometimes late the evening before wanting to dine and First thing morning of. Good luck!

Definitely try the free Touring plans reservation finder. I have 2 BOG lunches booked for our August trip, both scored by using the finder.

Yes, it really does work, and I was a skeptic. I just got a Sci Fi ADR for my December trip a few days ago using Touring Plans.

How many people are in your party? You could try splitting up the number near each other in time. For lunch you can have two parties of one near in time and still sit together since you seat yourself. I’ve found many reservations with a reservation finder. Also if you happen to be up in the middle of the night for some reason I’ve found all my BOG reservations then

As others have said Touring Plans is great, but most of the time reservations open up closer to the day of. We tend to not book ADRs until either the night before or morning of and you'd be surprised how often Be Our Guest comes up. The more flexible you can be on day/time the better chance you'll have

Never give up. Picked up a lunch last week for last Sunday. I've done it often. Most luck I have is checking between 12 am and 2 am. I can usually get anything I want even last minute ... I think they must dump cancels in the night.

I never knew about the Touring Plan finder..done! We are looking for Aug 18, and will keep trying! Good idea about splitting the party up too! Just looking for a lunch and flexible with time. Thanks all!!
