Hello all, I'm one of the many folks trying to get an ADR for 5 at BOG, lunch or dinner. I have kept the MDE window open on my desktop at work and am refreshing all day every day for a ressie. I saw one pop up at 1:40pm for 2 and snagged it and as luck would have it, I found one for 2:00pm for 3 people- so all of us would be able to check in and be seated within a few mins of eachother! However...... I was not able to reserve that 2PM slot since I already had an ADR at 1:40PM. But it was only for 2 people...... Is there any way around this? Can I not make two separate reservations in the same time period even if the total people on the reservations does not exceed the number of people in my party??
I have 2 MDE accounts just for that purpose. We are also a party of 5 and had to split a few ADRs. Just use different e-mail addresses. Unless you are right at the 180-day mark you will not have a problem making an ADR without a room reservation.
That's what I was thinking of doing! But will they be linked to our magic bands? Sorry this is my first trip in years, so I'm new to the whole magic band thing
I could be wrong about this, but I seem to remember people saying that you can use the MDE app and it will let you make 2 reservations close to each other. Haven't tried it personally. However, I did get 2 reservations within 30 minutes of each other (at 2 different restaurants) and I'm not sure how I did it. I may have used the app for that one, but it was awhile back.
