BOG seating at lunch

We have a reservation for lunch in about two weeks. Will we be seated or will we need to find a table. Also, can we request one of the rooms? Is there any benefit to pre-ordering your food?

You seat yourself in which ever room you want that has an open table. The benefit of ordering online is that you bypass the others who did not, which is sometimes a line of 50+ people. You go directly inside to a cashier, pay for your meal, and on to your table. Enjoy!

We are unable to order online due to my many allergies. Tried once & they messed it up badly, good thing I caught it before the server left. the chef came out & told me he was sorry & fixed it. He suggested from now on don't pre order. Last time we were there it didn't take long to get to register to pay. In fact there was a family that pre order online was in same line but opposite us & we got to get to the register before them. Guess what works for some are great & for people like me it is hard but with the chef coming in within minutes it is not too long of wait. All he had to do was keep the dressing off the sandwich & the seasoning off the FF.

Alas, the room you want may be full with other guests, so be flexible.

We had lunch at BOG 3 weeks ago and we were seated by a hostess. We did pre order and after she verified our orders, she sent us to wait for someone to seat us. We did not request a certain room, so I can not answer if that is an option. We had dinner there as well and were seated in the West Wing for that meal and the ball room for lunch.

When you preorder now there is an option to choose an allergen menu. I ordered the Quinoa salad and was also able to request the dressing on the side. Wouldn't hurt to take a peek.

Most of the time you can choose your own table at lunch, but sometimes there will be CMs seating guests. Possibly if it is a very busy time or if one of the rooms is not open so seating is more limited than usual. I do not know if you can ask to wait for a specific room under those circumstances.

You don't need to send someone for a table at BOG. Since it's a reservation system, there will be a table available somewhere for your party. As PPs have noted, if it's very busy, there will be a host/hostess seating you (I have experienced this.).
