Hi,

I apologize as I posted this question in the main forum, but feel this may be better in DDP.

My girls saw the donuts for BOG, and of course, would like that as their breakfast. They are 7, and considered children on our plan. Am I able to order 3 donuts and an open faced sandwich despite there being 2 kids/2 adults? (Originally my other daughter wanted a kids meal, but has since changed her mind). I was hopeful to pre-order this. Will this leave us with only kids credits at the end of our trip?

Also, I am also going to pre-order lunch. How does one go about substituting the drink for the soup online? Is it best to wait until we get to the restaurant and order there? Both girls are happy with the kid meal offerings at this lunch.

Thanks in advance!

You can substitute a soup for a drink? I thought you could only substitute soup for dessert.

Dessert or drink entitlements can be used for a snack item on any QS menu.

OP, reports are you should have no problem ordering the adult meals for your kids and use the kid's credit for it. You may want to find pictures of them and remember you also get a pastry platter for the table. You may not need 3 of the donuts. They are rather large, and you can share even on the DDP.

As to pre-ordering and doing the substitution, I THINK you can pre-order it the way you want it, but when you get there, you'll need to check with the CM at the ordering place to make sure they use your drink for the soup and not charge you for the soup.

So let me get this straight... I can go to BoG and get soup, entree, and dessert and bring in a bottle of water from outside and have it be all one QS credit? is there ice water available at that location?

My god I am so out of the loop. thanks for the patience.

Is that also the case with kids QS meals? Do all kids QS meals come with drink and dessert as a package? or if the dessert comes separately can you sub it for a snack item? Or does it never come separately?

If you order a kid's meal, the dessert is built in, and I don't think you can substitute a snack credit for it. Most QS kid's meals already have substitutions that can be made for any of the side components: fries, cookie, choc milk, fruit.
