BOG... no lunch reservations

Can you still eat lunch at BOG with no reservations. Last year in Feb you could line up early for lunch to get in, do they still do that. We are going beginning of May. Thanks.

highly unlikely. Like 99.9% chance its not happening. You may be able to snag an adr if you look often.

I think it is really difficult to walk up, I believe it is a long shot. Doesn't hurt to ask, go right at lunch opening which is like 10:45. We always try to get a lunch ADR as early as possible, way less hectic! Have you tried TP reservation finder, very helpful.

When we were at BOG on 4/19 there were no walk up reservations for lunch. i happened to find a reservation one day just randomly looking at the app. Be persistent and you will find one!

When we first booked our trip for the end of June we couldn't find a reservation at ANY time at BOG. My fiance just kept trying every day, all day and we ended up with reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (all on separate days of course). I think you really just have to stay on top of it. Just keep checking your app. I randomly found a lunch reservation at 2 months out when there was absolutely nothing for weeks before that.

Make sure to check the app the day before, too. Last time we were there, I noticed reservations for some restaurants that had been booked for months opening up the day before. It's typically when people make reservations well in advance, change their mind once they get there, and dump the reservation before the $10/person cancellation penalty kicks in. Worth a shot, good luck!

Definitely keep checking - I found a Saturday lunch this past October on Friday night. People cancel last minute so they are not charged a fee.

And I always say - if you are in that part of the park - it is worth swinging by and see if they can take you without a reservation. We were there in December and they were letting people without reservations in. The same thing when we were there in March. It's a longshot - but it is a shot. At worst they say no. I wouldn't go out of my way to do it - but if I was in Fantasyland and didn't have a reservation, I would ask.

It never hurts to walk up, but the likelihood of being allowed in is low. Keep checking.
