BOG menu concerns..

This is exactly why we only went to BOG for lunch. My daughter isn't necessarily a picky eater, but she isn't very adventurous, either. Since we were on the DP, I ordered her the turkey sandwich with french fries. She didn't touch the sandwich but loved the fries (which is sometimes all she eats for a meal anyway). Next trip we will not be on the DP, so ordering just a side of fries will make sense if that's all she's going to eat. Well, fries and a cupcake!

Fries & a cupcake! This is the best idea for my little one but I'm not sure I saw fries on the dinner menu. Are they? Their macaroni only has red sauce right? No macaroni & cheese?

My DS 13 is very picky and he ordered the steak and fries meal as did I and was very good. I heard a family arguing next to us about the menu. I really liked that it was not a character meal as often I feel rushed and my dinner gets cold when the characters walk around. I would talk to the waiter about any dietary concerns. I enjoyed the food and it was our best meal out of the whole week and atmposphere.

My son inhaled the meatloaf. They even offered to bring fries instead of the vegetable sides it came with, but we said no, the veggies were fine. But my son eats anything... but most kids like meatloaf, right?

Ha, I consider meatloaf super adventurous! My kids have never even had or heard of it before. We will have to come up with a plan for BOG. Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear maybe we can get fries.

It's not on the menu as a side but it comes with the adult steak dinner so you can get fries. They also have Mac n cheese with the adult pork chop so you can get that as a side. The macaroni on the kids menu is served with a red sauce but you can ask for it with butter and cheese if you want instead.

We ate dinner there last Friday night. We thought the food was great! DH had the Sauteed shrimp and scallops and thought it was absolutely fantastic. I had the pork rack chop and thought it was really good. DD(7) who is a picky eater had the whole grain macaroni and loved it- she ate every last bite (that is what she had last year at CS lunch too and she liked it then as well). The desserts were good too. I will say the broccoli that came with DD's meal was not good (DH who loves broccoli tried a bite and said it was nasty)- but that was the only thing that was even marginal. All in all, it was probably the best meal we have ever had at MK.

That's great to know! So I'm thinking my kids could get Mac and cheese and fries. How much do you think this would cost? I'm trying to decide between dining plan or oop for this one but am leaning toward oop because we have the Wishes dessert party later in the evening too. Thanks for your help!

We ate dinner at BOG in July. One of our favorite meals of the trip - food & overall experience. DH had the steak, I had the pork chop & DD7 had the steak & fries. Everything was cooked perfectly & the service was at a nice pace. After diner, we met the Beast & DD7 took a picture with him.

Each child has different tastes. When planning our trips & restaurants, I plan around the menus of each restaurant. My DD7 will eat different things (except fish).

Only you can make this decision as you know what your children will eat. Hopefully you can find something on the menu for lunch or dinner for them so you all can experience the beauty of this restaurant.
