So, I absolutely love the braised pork for lunch at BoG. By far the best pork dish I have ever had. During my upcoming trip, I have ADR's for lunch on three different days just to get this meal again and again.

However, the one thing I don't like are the green beans! Last year, when placing my order, I was looking for an option to remove the green beans and get extra mashed potatoes in their place but I had no luck on the ordering machines.

So, do they allow substitutions like this at BoG? If so, how do you do it? I would love a double portion of those mashed potatoes and do away with the green beans!

lol. I guess I shouldn't have said "ever had". Should have been more like "best I have had while on vacation". Still, for a quick service location, it is of very high quality and so much better than most quick service meals.

I tried to substitute fries for the sides on the adult braised pork a few weeks ago but wasn't allowed to do that. So I ordered the kid's meal and just got double fries!

I think this had to do with the system and way you order. I am GF and was surprised that I was instructed to just order wheat free (they say the kitchen processes it the same way) when I went. Often QS places give you options for sides but in this case I could only pick the pre-selected meal options for my allergy, no substitutions for me either. I imagine this is how they are keeping up with the volume of food they are churning out.
