BOG Lunch FP?

Just saw this post this morning, which seems to substantiate what a PP said about no walk-ups being taken for BOG. I feel badly for those people who don't follow this info regularly who are turned away....

Crazy! I'm onsite from Nov 2nd to the 7th.... Been trying from day 27 to get the FP, no Nov dates are available so far. So, even people who are up on everything are out of luck right now. can't get a FP, can't walk up, no paper return tickets..... They are making it very hard for me to give them my money!

So no standby or paper return times, but also gusts currently aren't able to book FP for it into November. So as it stands, there is no way for anyone to eat lunch there? :confused3

People going in November have been able to book their FPs for over a month, so if they are changing the sytem to make the BOG FP connected to the rest of them, seems like they should have made it available to book that way a month ago.

I can book BOG FP for the next 7 days only (today through 10/14). The link asked for my email and password, but not my reservation number. I arrive at Disney on 11/4.

BOG FP's are in no way connected to ride FP+.

How weird! I also just enter my emial and password, but it must have access to my MDE, even though it's not really part of it, because thevonly dates I have access to for checking are my trip dates (Nov). It could only know that from my reservation info.... There is no availability for any of the dates though....

Really? That's strange! Does it ask for your reservation number? It doesn't ask me.

Guess this is proof the system is at least glitchy right now (shocking, I know). Everything in MDE shows our trip for Nov. 4 but the only dates appearing in the calendar once I log in are Oct. 8-14. Yesterday it showed Oct. 7-13.

It's always been like this for me. I have a hotel stay next weekend (check in the 16), but I can only check for FPs for the upcoming week through Oct. 14.

I understand that they are not connected to your other fast passes, but it seems like they are changing that. I do not understand how people are supposed to eat there now. Currently people going in November that are inside the 27 day window can't book for November, and they have stopped issuing the paper return times.

My comment was made assuming that what they must be doing is linking BOG to the rest of the FP system because otherwise I don't understand how anyone is going to eat there if standby is now allowed, and booking them through the "test" website is not allowed.

Just an FYI - Our dates are 11/9-11/15. I was on there this morning and all of my dates are visible but when I click on the time I want, it says no fastpasses available. Since it is before our day 27, I'm hoping it will open up when we hit that mark.

I highly suspect Disney changed the rules last night. My guess is they now look like this:

1- no standby anymore. FP only for lunch (essentially making it reservations only)

2- reservations are available 7 days out from the day you want to eat there

3- resort reservations are not required, but MDE account is required. Not sure if a linked ticket would be required at time of reservation. Obviously one would be needed to get into the park.

24 days out and I finally was able to book lunch. Thought we g ad missed our window!
