Hi! Wondering whether I should get up at midnight to try to get a lunch reservation for BOG, or whether it's for sure going to open at 6 a.m. When I called the Disney line the other day, the CM recommended I try at midnight but said she hadn't been told when it would open. Anyone know?

I was wondering about this too. I had followed the wdwprepschool.com site's advice on this and was trying to get a lunch res. at BOG 27 days prior to our trip as directed, when they made the announcement that reservations will be available beginning Feb. 25th. It is official. Now like everyone else I am wondering when I should jump online to get the spot. I am in TX, so I figure midnight my time is an hour later than midnight their time. Anyway, I am beginning to lose hope. I can't get in line at 10:30 like I did last year, because we have fastpasses for rides booked around that time. I would prefer to do a late lunch. For those who have not been, it is pretty neat. The attention to details with the decor, etc. The way the whole system works, you are given a "rose" and they bring the food right to you. I was impressed. Food is okay. Just remember it is an amusement park, after all. We had the quiche and mac n cheese. Free drink refills. And the nicest part is the wandering around after and just checking out all the rooms. We were in the west wing with the Rose and the lightning. It was neat. So it is more about the overall experience than the food. And if you are like me, I am not spending enough to do dinner, so lunch is more affordable. I did try to go on the link to get the reservation, but I actually did it on my 26th day before the trip, so maybe I messed up. I was able to get thru to some dates, which had never happened before, but it would not go in to March which is when we will be there. Good luck everyone.

Was just looking at the old link where you obtain a fastpass for BOG lunch. They do have availability Feb 8th thru the 14th on that site. Does not do me any good, since we will be there in March and it does not go that far out....but just thought I would mention it for those of you who need lunch fastpass sooner. The pass does not county against your other passes. Maybe they will offer these up until the Feb 25th date. You just type in your email and password (for Disney site) and it takes you to the dates. That is as far as I have ever gotten on the link, maybe because it is closer to my travel date than before. This seems to all have happened right when I thought I might have a chance at getting a fastpass for lunch (when the time for our trip is within 27 days). Darn it! I will be prepared with both of our dates at MK if I get a chance to try for my res.

If reservations open at midnight eastern time, you can make reservations at 11 pm central time. (That's how it works for Fast Passes, anyway.)

I am hoping to get one in March as well. Guess I'll try at midnight (Florida time) and if not then guess I'll be getting up at the butt-crack of dawn :)

Actually, I was mistaken. This will not be a fastpass, but a reservation now, so midnight is out. The phone line will open at 6am, so 5am Florida time. Or you can go online and get a reservation. Wonder how ths will effect folks just walking up and getting in line.

Actually reservations start:
Online: 6 AM Eastern time
Phone: 7 AM Eastern time

I hate to think of getting up at 5 AM but I suppose that it will be worth it.

I will be up trying my hardest to get a reservation. Talked to a CM today and he told me to keep checking the website daily and to call in 2x/week. He said they get cancellations all the time. Hoping for dinner but will be happy with a lunch too!!!

Does anyone know, when BOG goes to reservations for lunch, will they still have the stand by line? Or will it now be reservations only?

I'm hoping to get a lunch reservations for August when they start taking them . pixiedust:

February 25th is when they will start taking reservations for lunch, I'm not sure if they will still have stand by lines or not.

Thanks for the info! I guess waking up at 5am will be worth it if i can get a reservation :)

I was changing another reservation today and asked about the BOG lunch reservations. The CM told me it's 6 am on-line and 7 am for phone. She also told me you can only book 30 days out. Has anyone else heard that?

I saw on Disney park blog, I believe, that reservations are 180 days out, but pre-order for lunch is from 30 days to 5(?) minutes before reservation time.

Hi Heather, Reservations can be made 180 days in advance, you can pre-order your meal 30 days in advance of your reservation.

Found it!
