BOG lunch : able to book because of previous reservation?

Had a room only reservation booked , logged in to BOG lunch ( with reservation # ) to what the fuss was about. I ended up canceling my reservation ( got a better deal at SOG) I'm still able to access the BOG lunch fast pass and make a reservation 7days in advance ( each day the calendar opens up a new day) even though i cancelled. I've tested it out, booking a fast pass and canceling it. If I make a fp for BOG lunch, will they honor it if I print it out and show them, or do I need an "invite"?

I am afraid not because they need to scan your magic band. Once they scan, they would know that you don't have an onsite reservation and may not honour the FPP. Pixie dust!

You don't need an on site reservation. I go to BOG all the time and am not staying on site. It just lets you make reservations sometimes.

We actually have active magic bands also because of the cancelled reservation . I did not know you didn't need to be on site though! That's great!

Interesting to know! First it was by invitation only. Now you don't need a hotel reservation to book the fastpass lunch. I had to use my reservation number to log in. I thought it was for onsite guests only since you needed to log in with a reservation number.

I originally logged in with my hotel reservation (cancelled) .Perhaps if you've stayed once you are able to log in to make reservations ?!

I think that is why I can log in and book. We have stayed a few times in the last year so I randomly go in and see if I can book a lunch.

I just logged in and could pick any day in the next 7 days. I haven't stayed on site since mid April and have no pending reservations. It doesn't ask for a reservation number I just log in using my MDE info.
