BOG FP+ Lunch Issue for DVC'ers?

I've brought up this question in the Restaurant forum, but I think it has a DVC bias to it so I'll ask here:

Are any other DVC'ers having trouble accessing the BOG FP+ lunch site now? My trip is in February, and starting 1/16 (the day after dues were officially due), began receiving an "invalid email or password" message every time I or anyone traveling with me tried to access the site. I've tried other email addresses, browsers, computers, etc etc, with no luck. Tech Support was unable to do anything. Dues being paid didn't change anything.

I've heard of a few other DVC'ers with the same issue - just thought I'd ask here to gather more info to support my theory that the error message is somehow related to DVC reservations in the system...

I can log on and make a BoG FP+ selection and I don't even have resort reservation currently.
 
We reserved for our most recent trip, and it worked great. We are back now. We did have a My Magic Plus account set up, but it did not link it to that account. So I don't even know if that was a factor. Keep trying, the site can be wonky, as the first time we tried to sign up it told us there was no availability. Two weeks later it worked.

There's some discussion about this under the Restaurant section. It sounds like the FP for BOG become available around the 15th of the month prior. (So for March ressies, look around Feb 15th). That's been the recent pattern, anyway.

I'm hoping to grab one for March! We ate there for lunch in Nov. We thought the food was good (esp. for counter serve), and the castle is beautiful. The regular line was really really long, and we were brought right in. It was magical! :thumbsup2
 

I had all kind of issues trying to book a reservation in December. I tried different reservations numbers (our plans changed several times) on various days before and after the 15th of the month prior and could never get it to work.
 
We're staying DVC early next month and had no issues obtaining a BOG FP+ when they opened up a few weeks back. Sorry to hear that you are having issues.
 
where do you book this (bog fp+) at

I don't think I can post the link but if you google

(be our guest fastpass website) it will come right up.

I was able to book lunch and preorder our food with no problems at all.

Yes, I had that issue. It wants an email address for you log in but that's not what I use for my any other Disney log in. I finally went ahead and set up the email one but figure that I now have 2 profiles so really didn't move ahead with anything else. Everything seems so buggy with this system and what works for one person won't always work for another. :sad2:

I think MS can merge your two accounts, at least they did something similar for me, I can log in using both a nickname and an email address.

I logged on for reservations, but none were there :) ....

Guess we're lucky we managed to snag DINNER ones 5 months ago.
 
Thanks so much for this thread. I could't figure out how to make ressies for lunch. It didn't seem to appear anywhere. Was able to book for Feb.

Silly question: We happen to already have 3 FP+ for MK the day we booked this lunch. Does the BOG dining not count in the 3FP+ per park that day?? What if I wanted to do BOG lunch on a day I have FP+ at another park? Shish, I wished they'd make this clear somewhere.

Fastpass booking for BOG lunch does not count as your 3. As to making it for a day you have booked other Fastpasses for another park, I don't think that matters either.

As to signing in, for some reason what works for me is my original email address I used on Disneyworld.com and my DVC member password.
 
Just booked BOG lunch for 2/16. Had availability most of the week from 2/16 - 2/23 for our entire stay.

It is separate and apart from our three FP+ rides that day.
 
I did not have this issue when booking BOG FastPass BUT when I tried to log onto Disney website to book my July dining reservations at 7:30am Jan 24, the website would NOT let me log on. It kept saying that same thing you mentioned, invalid login/password. I knew I was entering it correctly as I go on the site almost daily :rotfl: I restarted my computer, and it was fine after that. Must be an IT glitch

Same thing happens to me all the time. You have to clear your browser cache. Instead of doing that, I make sure I log out on any Disney site I use. Doesn't seem to happen at all then.
