BOG fast pass

Are you guys getting an invitation email or are you going through My Disney Experience?

If MDE, can someone tell me how to do it. We are leaving 1/10 and want to eat lunch on FP+ 1/11.

I'm using the link that has been posted. I didn't receive an email but I don't recall receiving an email for my 11/13 trip either. Perhaps eligibility has changed as they tweak the system.
 
We check in to All-star Sports on Jan. 8, and I have been trying to do the BOG FP for a while now. I would try about twice a week and would get through a couple screens and then not be able to actually make the reservation...until yesterday! Yay! So that is about 11 days out. For those of you coming in late January or February, it is probably too soon for you. Good luck and keep trying. I am really looking forward to eating there and the line was just too long last April when we were there.

Not true. All of January has been open for over a week. I booked for 1/22 on 12/20. And, checking the main "January BOG FP+" thread on the reservations board, lots of others were able to book dates all over January at that time. In fact, that thread is where I found out that January had opened.

I don't think that February is open at all yet.
 

My MB have shipped already and I cannot find any other number besides my confirmation # which won't work. I spent over 1hr on hold today trying to get a separate 12 digit reservation # only to be told that you have to get an email specifically inviting you to a BOG FP+ so for those of you that still have access to that MB # write it down before it disappears...

We used number on yellow magic express tag. That work for our jan. trip. We never got invited to try bog FP but it still worked
 
Hmmm, we are driving so no Magic Express for us. I wonder where else I could get this number. The CM I talked to was so rude, she clearly knew what I was talking about but pretended like she didn't :/

Log into MDE and click on your Magic Band. The number will be listed with the primary persons band. You do not need an email. Let me know if you need anymore help. Good luck!!!
 
I tried to book FP today for our April trip but it is only showing dates through 1/2/14. Any idea why? I was able to book two months out for our 11/13 trip.

I was able to book for our October trip, but it wouldn't let me have a booking window farther than a week out. I was able to get it to work last week, for a FP+ on January 26th, by using another member of our party's login info.
 
From the WDW website it lists BOG lunch as a counter service however, I keep seeing posts on people obtaining FP for the lunch option. Is it not a true CS? Will I need to make a FP selection for it?

It is a true CS. Having a FP+ allows you to "skip the line" like you would if you had a FP+ for a ride. If you're staying onsite and know that you want to go there on a particular day, it makes sense to get a FP+. Otherwise, you can still eat there by waiting in line.
 
I had a fast pass for Thursday of the week I was down there in December. We just did the skip the line option as I didn't want to guess in advance what I would be hungry for. We enjoyed it so much that the following day (Friday) we booked a fast pass for Saturday. I was surprised we were able to do that, but very happy!
 
Using the 12 digit number on the tickets and bands page isn't working for me. I feel like that is still from this years tickets though. Not our upcoming trip.

Before you go over the bridge there is a check in kiosk on the left side. You check in there and then go over the bridge where a CM will show you in to the restaurant.

To the PPs, the BOG+ does not show up on MDE and they do not email a confirmation. If you are concerned, take a screen shot and bring it with you. I did that just b/c I was nervous, but I didn't need it.

we are going for new years eve and I wanted to get in for lunch. we are local and are not staying on property this time around we tend to stay every other quick trip we make. I put in a reservation number from our last stay in november and it let me make a FP+ reservation for tomorrow. I am so pumped I even picked our meal already! This is going to be so helpful on this busy day.
 
I'm beyond frustrated. I already have my bands. I tried putting the id number on the back of the band and that didn't work. I have 4 small boys and really want to avoid waiting on this line.

I don't believe it is your MB ID number it is an actual resort reservation confirmation number. That is what worked for me.

I set up my account for the BOG FP before I knew we would have MBs using the number on my DME luggage tags. 12 digits beginning with a 4.
 
That isn't working either. It's an 8 digit number and it keeps taking out the letters and saying invalid.
