Hi Everyone,

I've been watching BoG for Dec...and it seems that it is all booked up for Dinner.

I am 6 days away from being able to make my reservations...and I am SO SO scared atm.

Is there some special events happening in Dec?

I just made my ADRs for DEc. 6-14 this morning and BOG only had one day available for ADRs (Saturday the 13). I think part of the problem is the restaurant's last ADR on MVMCP days is at 7, so you lose half your evening ADR slots three or four days a week during the first half of the month.

Thank you for the information Missy.

Btw, did you make the ADR on the phone or online?

A dinner reservation for BOG is the most difficult reservation to get regardless of the month. Ever since it opened it has booked up quickly so that even guests staying at a Disney owned resort and using the 180 + 10 days are finding that their best chances are towards the end of their vacation during the +10 days. However, cancellations do occur as plans change or if someone finds a better time.

In December there are the Christmas parties in the MK. On those nights if you are not staying for the party your BOG reservation must be for before 7:00. If you are staying for the party it is usually not recommended to eat during party hours because it's a waste of party time considering how expensive party tickets are and it reduces the amount of time to enjoy the special activities occurring only during the party.

If you cannot get BOG when your 180 day arrives, be persistent. Keep checking online multiple times a day - you'll have 6 months to look. You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for December. It was just started so it isn't too busy yet:

Yes just keep trying if at first you don't get it I just scored a BOG ADR for 11/21 at 5:35 pm I have been stalking the reservations on a daily basis since my 180+10 and just a short while ago bam it was there I couldn't believe my eyes at first and was afraid my initial hesitation that I was actually seeing it was going to cost me the adr but nope I GOT it :woohoo:

Thank You for the encouragement...this trip is really do or die for me, I can't let anything fail because I am popping the big question...so yeah...

We are going in December for Sat-Wed. We booked our ADRs 180 days out... and the only opening for BoG was on Tuesday at 8pm, which interferes with our MVMCP so we are just going to get a fast pass and go for lunch.

Remember, like someone said, book further out, forward. Start with the last evening (or last 3) and go for that first. If you don't get it, try the phone at 7 am. Then stalk the Disney reservation website, these boards and call. If nothing seems to be working, go for the fast pass. My friend got engaged at the CRT. They did the glass slipper engagement package. Anyway, try for reservations up until you go. Also, figure out the 45 days before your vacation and step it up for a couple of weeks before; that's when a lot of cancellations come in. Good luck!
