BOG buliding

After looking at the menu, my son will probably not like eating at BOG, but I think he would like seeing it. Will I be able to take him in to look around even if I don't eat there?

No. Before there was breakfast some folks were let in to the foyer but I don't think many made it deep inside to see the West Wing and Rose Gallery. Now that they are three meals they will not let anyone inside, and not even close to the door from my observations. You could book lunch and just get cupcakes so you can look around.

You could probably pay for a VIP tour through guest services and put looking in there as a priority and get in that way but that is a very expensive way to see a building.

It appears that there is a sizeable number of people that are booking reservations not because they like the menu, but because they simply want to see the inside. It's kind of a zoo inside, with all the flash photography going off, which is a huge turnoff in eating there. I can't imagine Disney ever allowing folks in without a reservation simply because it would hurt business. One, from the standpoint of people who just want to see inside no longer booking, and two...folks who are there to eat and enjoy a meal being inundated with people there meandering around and taking pictures.

The food is really pretty basic at BOG. Look past the fluffy wording on the menu and you'll see the food for what it actually is. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of BOG and I think the food is good, it's just not as fancy as the menu makes it seem. Your son may actually like it after all.
