I just made breakfast reservations at BOG. Each meal is expensive as all get out!!! I'm not worried about the price since its just a QS credit for us, but I'm curious about the ordering process?

At that price - How big is the meal?? Can we / should we / will we be allowed to share a meal?

Also, which meal is your favorite? Which do you suggest avoiding?

TIA!

You can definitely share. You get a plate of pastries too (which they said they will replenish if we wanted) and the meal itself is big enough for two, not huge but you definitely won’t be hungry.

We shared the croque madame on our recent trip and I enjoyed that. The people next time had a cooked breakfast which didn’t look great but they ate it so 🤷‍♀️

When you enter the castle you get put in a line, which determines which room you’ll be in. The line goes to the till, where you order. You then take a seat, pop your receipt on the table and your breakfast magically comes to you! We ordered a peach Bellini each but there were coffee mugs there at the drink station so we helped ourselves to coffee too, though I’m not entirely sure if we should have done that or not!

You can order as much or as little as you like. The meals are on the small side, so it depends on who is eating. The tray of pastries should help with the sharing, but they are also smallish.

We usually order the big platter and share (2 kids and me) and it is more than enough :)

DH and I shared the Feast a la Gaston in May and it was enough. I'm gluten free, so we had the gluten free version with gf pastries. Neither of us are big eaters, especially in the morning.

I've been to BOG for breakfast and lunch and never been seated by someone. There are usually two lines; one for pre orders and one for ordering at the Kiosks. Definitely pre order if you can as it saves time. I've heard people mention that when they've gone, they've been seated but we've never had that experience in all the times we've gone for breakfast or lunch. It must depend of the time of year. ??? We've always done pre order, checked in and reviewed our order and seated ourselves wherever we wanted. They find you by your MB so if I get up for a drink I take off my band and leave it on the table. I believe that if you don't have a MB they give you a rose, although I've been there before where everyone got a rose even if they had a MB.

I've gotten the meat and cheese board that came with the pastries and also ordered hot chocolate or coffee for three people. So $40 for three people. But it was plenty of food for us, not big breakfast eaters, and worth it for a PPO reservation.

We wanted lunch but got in for breakfast. I have not been able to get a later time. Is this still correct:
You only pay for what you order and
You can order from the kids menu instead of the adult

We would like to go once but don’t want to pay $56 for the 2 of us. Thanks

Yes, you can order as much or as little as you like. Kids meals, cupcakes, just coffee......

So I can get a reservation and just order a coffee and get a plate of pastries with it?

Sorry, but no. If you want the plate of pastries, you have to order at least one meal, either adult or kid. But you can order just coffee and a cupcake if you want to eat light and quick.
