BOG breakfast

that counts as a counter servicde credit right? we normally are not breakfast eaters while at WDW besides one CRT we do every year. while i was looking for one a BOG opened up during the same window i was looking for so i thought why not? plus i see people raving about it. and we book our meal ahead of time online right? sorry just havent read much on this.

It's a counter service. We tried it in June, and the food was really amazing. You get to pick where you sit and they just bring you food and drinks. We really liked the experience, but it doesn't really compare to CRT. The food, IMO, was better than CRT, but we sort of felt rushed. And of course, there are no characters at BOG.

I guess I should clarify, I still do have a ADR for breakfast for CRT for this trip. I was trying to move it because with the dinner we have that night (hoop de do at 830 cat 1) we like doing breakfast then a snack during the day so we are hungry for the all you care to eat dinner. I was trying to move my CRT breakfast to that morning but then BOG popped up. So I'm not trying to replace CRT because I agree it's so worth it but I wanted to try BOG but never tried getting it when I originally made my ADRs but since it popped up I thought why not?

We had breakfast their during our Easter trip. It was the only meal voted a dud by all of us (My sister, BIL, nieces 16 and 10, nephew 8,son 23 and I).
We loved the castle. The CMS were great (expect the one who gave us a hard time because my youngest niece wanted a rose. We ended up getting it).

I want to give it another try for lunch or dinner the next time we return

Yes, the food.

The food there was the only place all 7 of us gave a thumbs down.

The food at BOG breakfast was the only place in all of Disney all 3 of us gave the thumbs up. (We don't eat processed food at home, so the food in general was dreadful to us.) Atmosphere? Meh. The five year old loved it, the fortysonethings didn't care for scrambling to find your own table.
