BOG breakfast was great

On Mothers Day we had 805 ADR for breakfast at BOG. We were let into the park about 740 and had plenty of time to take pics of the mostly empty park and look around on our way. They gave carnations to all the moms. I preordered breakfast, it arrived at our table 5 minutes or so after sitting. The food was great. We split the Bacon/Egg baguette and the cronut. We took the pastries to go and ate them throughout the day, they were all good. We exited the restaurant around 835. We were able to ride SDMT 4 times in a row before the park opened with no wait which was really fun and I noticed new details each time. We had made this trip reservation last minute and I couldn't get a fast pass so this was a great way to ride with no wait. My family reaction was that we should definitely do this again if it is offered when we go back in August!

Sounds like a great experience - thanks for sharing. We are hoping that it opens up to August as well for our trip. Were there 'to go' boxes for your pastries or did you have to ask for a box? (or did you bring your own container) Just wondering as it looks like a lot of pastries on top of a good size breakfast.

They provided us with a box. We asked for it as soon as they brought our food because we knew we would save them for later.

When we did the BOG Breakfast,we were "held" until 8:50 and then taken through the FP+ at SDMT line just before the Main Gate Line got to Fantasyland,so we only got one ride before the Main Gate Line arrived.

What time did they let you start in order to get 4 rides in before the Main Gate Line got there?

When we did the BOG Breakfast,we were "held" until 8:50 and then taken through the FP+ at SDMT line just before the Main Gate Line got to Fantasyland,so we only got one ride before the Main Gate Line arrived.

What time did they let you start in order to get 4 rides in before the Main Gate Line got there?

If the CMs can get 7DMT up and running early, this has been happening, but 7DMT is notorious for not being up until right at RD, and sometimes a little later.

Yes,we didn't get but one ride,but it was still really cool to be Frist Riders!

Maybe they'll have it going earlier next time we do BOG!
