BOG Breakfast vs. Lunch

Do you prefer BOG breakfast or lunch?

I'd vote lunch but for the value on the dining plan, I'd probably go with breakfast. Can't beat the savings.

The food was terrible, we had a really hard time finding a table, and when we did it was dirty and the CM didn't seem happy to clean it, and it's so noisy. People walking all over made it feel like a cafeteria to us. People seem to be much calmer at breakfast.
This definitely makes me consider keeping my breakfast reservation. I was thinking about switching to lunch because my husband is not a breakfast eater and we've already scheduled another breakfast during the trip (Bon Voyage; non-negotiable for a child who lives for Rapunzel and Flynn). However, I think he'll just have to take one for the team and let our 4-year-old enjoy the experience. :ssst::teeth:

Being that your BOG is PPO, I would definitely keep it. Hubby can have a cup of coffee and smile. ;)

Forgive me but don't you need to cancel reservations within 24 hours otherwise you have to pay a fee?

Keeping the reservation but not USING the reservation just to get into the park early seems like an expensive way to get an hour (or so) of time in the park just to be at the front of a line for a ride.

I am also with @JudyHopps about cancelling them as soon as possible. First to ensure I am not charged, but also so others could take advantage of the reservation as well. FWIW.
You have to cancel it the day before. So, you could wait until the night before.

But like you, I cancel as soon as I can. I want to open that reservation for others, if I am not using it.

In the summer, I would choose the lunch BOG in a heartbeat just to have a break from the heat. For Dec, check the menus and choose based on your schedule and food preference. There is no harm in holding both reservations for a while until you decide for sure. Someone will snatch up that extra reservation as soon as you release it, whether that is today or three months from now. There is also a board on here for dining cancellations if you want to make some Dis'ers day!
