alright, who has done this? How early can you get OUT of BOG after eating and what do the cast members do with you once you are back out in the park?

Do they corral the BOG folks somewhere or do they let you roam wherever?

Does everyone have to eat breakfast at BOG to get in early?

Who has done the order a coffee and a cupcake and left quickly thing and how did that work for your group?

Just curious about logistics of what they let you do once you leave BOG pre park open?

There is a lot of information about this on other threads including a map of where to stand after you come out of the restaurant to wait for cm's to let you ride mine train. I don't know how to link , but I'm sure you could find it by doing a search on these boards.

We went in October, with an PPO BOG breakfast. We were in at 8am, and out by 8:45a. We did not get stopped as we were walking out. The CM's just let us go on our way, and as we were walking by the 7DMT, the CM's at the FP line asked us if we wanted to ride and we walked right in, through the FP line and got on. It worked out really great. Although, this was in October and it could be different now, but I have heard both people being stopped and people being let on. I guess it might depend on if the CM's are going to let you go. I'm not sure if everyone has to eat, but everyone has to be on the reservation. In the line at the entrance, the CM's ask for your name and check the number of people, at least they asked me.

We had an 8:10 reservation last Monday. Finished by 8:40 and my husband and daughter waited right outside near 7DMT and the CM was chatting with guests about the ride. As soon as you could hear the welcome show ending they let them board. My 2 year old son and I rode the Carousel and then Winnie the Pooh right after. We ordered one adult meal and two kids meals for four people and it was plenty of food with the pastries. We also used the bathrooms nearby, no one really cared where you walked around but there was a CM near the mine train.

We went last October and only half of our party ordered something to eat at BOG. We didn't have to rush through our meal and we were still done in plenty of time. We were held almost right outside the fast pass entrance to the 7DMT and as soon as the CM could hear people coming he ushered us through the fast pass lane. We were the first to ride, and by the time we got off the ride the line was extremely long!

Just came back and it worked very well for us. We arrived at 8:00 and was in line by 8:45. They let us ride before the rope dropers were let in the park. In fact we could hear the welcome show when they started letting us through. We also got some nice pictures of the castle and main street before our ADR

Interesting, when we were there in February, we were allowed onto the ride as soon as we finished breakfast around 8:30 and went on three times in a row. Now they hold you until the welcome show?

We did it in January. We were among the first in to the restaurant, and I was careful to have us back out by 8:35. It was me, my 11 year-old son and 72 year-old mother, and we all had time to eat a full breakfast, which we had pre-ordered. I could have waited a bit to leave the restaurant, as we couldn't get on the ride for about 10 minutes after that.

There is no "corral". You're free to roam open sections of the park, but they keep you away from the Mine Train entrance until rope drop. The cast member said we'd have to wait until 9 , but that wasn't true. We were allowed on well before anyone from the front gates would have been able to get there (probably around 8:45).

We rode twice with no wait, and could have ridden a third time, but opted instead to go to Peter Pan. On our way to PP, we passed the streaming mass of people headed for Mine Train.

Disney started offering Early Morning Magic in April, a special ticketed event held ~two days per week that includes breakfast and rides on 7DMT, Peter Pan, and Winnie the Pooh. On those days, BOG breakfast-goers cannot be allowed to ride until the park officially opens in order to maintain the "exclusivity" of pre-park opening rides for event ticket holders. Reports are that the CMs allow BOG breakfast-goers to line up for the standby line on these days while allowing Early Morning Magic guests to use the FP+ queue. I'm not sure if they're holding BOG breakfast-goers like this every day now for consistency, or if some people still get earlier rides on non-EMM days.

They did hold us until then, yes. We were still able to ride a few times in a row. I suspect that different CMs have slightly different times they let guests in to the Mine Train.

Just back. We had a BOG reservation for 8:15 am on Friday May 13. There was a private event so we had to wait until 8:50 ish but we were at the front of the line and rode in the front car. I don't know if you get extra rides. When we were there in October we got to ride two or three times before the line bumped up to 40 minutes +.
