BOG breakfast -- sharing entrees?

I apologize if this question has already been asked/answered. We will be at WDW in about a month and this morning I was able to get a breakfast ADR at BOG. There are six in our party (five adults and one teenager) and none of us are really big breakfast eaters -- usually we have just a granola bar, some fruit, or a pastry in the room. And when we're at WDW in the summer and it's so hot/humid, we're not big eaters in general -- my husband can eat anything you put in front of him, but my daughters and I tend to split a QS salad with a dessert or maybe two QS entrees between the three of us.

My question is this -- can we split meals at BOG breakfast? My husband, father, and one of my daughters would probably eat an entrée, but my Mom, my other daughter and myself would be perfectly happy with just the pastries and some juice, or perhaps splitting an entrée. I'm thinking that, between the six of us, three entrees plus the pastries would definitely be more than enough food.

I thought sharing meals was ok at BOG breakfast, but then heard today from someone down there this week that they were told they could not share meals.

So what's the latest? Thanks.

I am curious as well. We are planning on doing this next month. There are only two of us and we aren't big on breakfast. We thought we would just split one meal. I do know this- I was able to pre-order my meal already and it had no issue with selecting only one meal even though the reservation is for two.

Anyone have any recent experience with this? I'm really debating about whether or not to keep the ADR, but it will depend on whether or not we can share meals.

All reports I've seen here on the DIS have been that you CAN share. You can even order kid's meals for adults. The problem you may have is that plate of pastries. With only 3 meals ordered, you'll only get one plate which only has I think four pastries on it. My suggestion would be to do what Curiouser did and pre order your meals. I really don't think you'll have a problem. If they had changed their practice to one of NO SHARING, I'm sure we would have two or three threads here discussing it.

That's what I figured -- there would have been threads here discussing it. It was something on Facebook that caused me to wonder -- someone said that someone who was there last week was told at BOG that they could not share at breakfast.

I read somewhere that the portion size at breakfast was small. I am planning on ordering 3 meals for my 3 daughters (10,8,5) and myself.
