Since the original test was through June 18th, maybe it will be around that time that we hear about another possible extension. What does everyone think? I am really hoping for the extension and since the 18th is my birthday, that would be a nice way to start:)

I called and spoke with a cast member and they told me it was not going to continue... :(

Someone can correct me but I believe the last extension happened way before the 30 day mark. I think one thing that is quite telling in this test is the fact that the last week this is supposedly being offered, during one of the busiest times of year, there are lots of available times for breakfast. Considering it's BOG, hard to get lunch or dinner, wanted more for venue than food and summer crowds .... and yet they still can't fill it. And given they allow people to come in and not order food and share a pastry plate and have unlimited fountain access ... still can't fill it. Under capacity and lack of income due to offering a price fixed meal yet not implementing it ..... lots of lost income. BOG is large and very heavy in staffing, way more than any other "quick serve."

My test instincts would be it's not as successful as hoped and to open that place fully staffed for a meal you can't sell out means you need to look at the results and adjust. Continuing as it is right now is not a good fiscal decision.

The extension to July 18th happened with much more advanced notice. I think there will still be some sort of breakfast option, but it will be different.

I talked to someone this morning and they said they would evaluate it after july 18th indicating it would be closed for awhile. I take that with a grain of salt and am just showing that no one really knows.

When was it last extended? I saw no availability for June but then in July both BOG and Crystal Palace and many open times. I think that it may be as much that it is cutting into Crystal Palace which is one of the more popular breakfasts.

We went to BOG breakfast. I did not realize you did not have to order a meal. Nothing appealed to me I got the donut thing and it was not very good.

Unfortunately, I gave up on BoG breakfast continuing a while ago. As others have said, it seems as though if the test runs were successful, it would have already been expanded. For now, I'll just dream about a breakfast waffle at Sleepy Hollow instead.

It needs to be a character breakfast with belle, beast and others to fill it. Maybe as a photo op before the meal or after. Just my opinion.

This would be fantastic, but it might mean Disney would have to cut Belle from the CRT lineup.

This is from another thread earlier this week...but most here recognize that "Scupper" is a very credible poster.

1) The only rumor we hear is that of converting to a TS for all meals.
2) REPEAT: RUMOR.
3) The talk we hear is that it is so very popular, so why not capitalize on the popularity and demand.
4) The place cost a fortune to build, and a QS doesn't have the return on the investment ("ROI") as a TS.
5) We will have to wait and see.

PERSONAL COMMENT: From a business prospective, it does make lot of sense to go all-TS. People are willing to pay almost any price to get into BoG. Additionally, with the popularity of DDP, people don't recognize when they do, or when they don' get a good deal, so the pricing (and profit margins) are easily disguised.

They could just replace Belle with Anna & Elsa.

Just for fun... right now I can get an 8:05 BOG breakfast reservation on July 8 for 6 people. No EMH and regular 9 am opening from what I see. And as people pointed out that party of 6 could get in with early entry and split one or two kids' meals according to my understanding of current rules. To reiterate: A family of six can get pre-park entry for $11.99+tax TOTAL and they still aren't filling up. Something will need to change.

Part of the problem is we here on the DIS know you don't have to all order something, but the run-of-the-mill Disney goer doesn't know that. They go to the website, see the menu and the prices and go, "NO WAY!"

Where did you hear that?!?!! Anna and Elsa meeting at CRT would be huge news, and I haven't seen anything about it.

No, I was just saying that if they took Belle from Akershus they could replace her with Anna & Elsa. They have not done this.

We only did breakfast there to get in the park pre-opening. Was not happy with the $70 price tag for not good food, at all. No one at our table liked their food.

thats sad to hear. Maybe in the future they will make food changes.

So bummed, but was kinda thinking it must not be working out for them. Its not like they have QS breakfast (outside of pasteries) in the parks before.

Maybe they will just make it a TS meal. I don't see them doing Character meal, I think if they wanted it to be character it would have already been so.

I just hate how you can never get a reservation. We rarely plan trips greater than 6 month out so never have hope.
