BOG Breakfast - how many people per pastry plate?

If I could get two croissants and no other pastries, I'd actually prefer it.

After reading the full review on DFB of what comes on the pastry platters, I would agree. I feel a little bad and wasteful as our group of 7 adults will all be ordering their own breakfasts (we eat very differently) so more than likely all but just one or two pastries will go to waste. Has anyone been able to put in a special request to avoid the waste?

Because I refuse to pay $140 for breakfast.

We are willing to pay $80-90 for the privilege of entering the park prior to opening instead of going through the morning hordes. That's my break point, though. I can and do make breakfasts like those served at BOG frequently (except the doughnut because OMG no), so the food isn't a huge draw for us. Add some tomato crouton casserole to the open faced egg sandwich on the baguette, and you have my fave summer breakfast. The kids will down some protein in the condo, and then we will all nibble through the baguettes, crepes, eggs, etc. I am just trying to stave off croissant fights since I don't make croissants nearly enough in my kids' opinions.

The fact that it's food we will enjoy is a bonus to our pre-opening entry.

If your reservation is for 4 people, I wouldn't think they will let more than 4 in the park early for your reservation. Unless you made a reservation for your entire party and you only order 4 meals.

My suggestion would be to have the kids who want the croissants eat one at the condo. You could get them from a bunch of different places on property or even order from a grocery store that delivers.

The OP is paying for 4 meals and is dividing those meals between 7 people. She wants enough pastry for 7 people and is trying to determine how best to get more than she is paying for. That is entirely different than wanting what you pay for. It is asking how to scam the system to get more food.
I recommend re-reading the original post. OP was planning on purchasing 4 meals and was trying to determine if adding a 5th meal would be worth it by finding out if the restaurant would then add a second pastry tray. OP was simply clarifying policy, not trying to figure out how to work the system to get 4 pastry trays or something. It seems the OP's intentions were misinterpreted or some do have a problem with people sharing meals at BOG. :confused3

Just take a zip lock bag with you into the park and put them in that for later. Someone will want them later.

Yikes! That is what happens when I did not have enough coffee! I am sorry.
