I made my reservations this morning and there was nothing available until our very last day (Dec. 9th). I was not planning on MK on the last day so my entire plan got rearranged while I was on the phone with Disney.. lol. I am amazed at how hard most of the reservations were to get! Ohana was another one that barely had any availability. I then called back an hour later for Hoop De Doo and all of the category 2 seats were booked. Crazy!

I hope BOG is worth it....if I ever get an ADR!!

I am going to punch my computer and moreso...the Disney site!! I FINALLY got BOG for the date I needed...it asked me to log in (why as I am always logged in) and then BOOM...server down!

Now I am able to get back in and the spot is gone!!!

Maddening!!!

Keep checking. There was nothing when I booked 4 months ahead of our trip and kept checking. Ended up booking days and times that weren't ideal and kept canceling and changing until the perfect date/time came up.

We have late reservations at BOG in July. Someone told us to request a table with a fireworks view. Has anyone heard whether or not you could see the fireworks from BOG and if so, is it better there than outside near the castle?

NOTE: The eatery has different food themes than usually found
in a park. Although not "signature" eatery quality, food is good and
tasty. Lunch is QS with no ressies available, and dinner is TS and
ressies are highly advised. The atmosphere is very well done and
probably the most fancy and most themed of any WDW eatery.
As a QS eatery it is one of the best, as a TS eatery it is average.
(For dinner, think:CRT -- good atmosphere, only average food quality.)

I've been trying since the end of Feb. to get one either Aug. 27th or 31st and I've seen nothing at all for those dates. I'll keep trying up to when we go and maybe even when we get there but I'm not holding out a lot of hope for it and think we will have to try and do lunch there on our MK day as long as the line up isn't to crazy. I might have to just live through all of you who managed to get a ADR!:thumbsup2

We ate there in May just to try something new and were surprised at how good it was! It was one of the best meals I have had a Disney
World, and we go at least twice a year. We always eat at several signature restaurants, so I can confidently say I have a lot to compare it to. That trip we ate at Jiko, Le Chefs de France, Brown Derby, Raglan Road, and Le Cellier, so there was a lot to compare it to. I had the Cornish Hen and my husband had Lamb (I think). The service was very good also. You will not be sorry.
I also had trouble getting my reservations for Nov 28 - Dec 6. I was shocked because we have been during that time before and I never had trouble getting my choices. That is traditionally a slow week. Kind of scary!!

Its worth it !!!! The dining experience is one that you wont forget !!

Its just such beautiful place, and great food as well !!

You can not see the fireworks from BOG.

No fireworks but you can see it snowing outside in the ballroom. Pretty special for a hot day in July.

I personally think BOG will be worth it! The atmosphere setting in there ia incredible, I tear up walking into the ballroom, you truly are transported into the movie! The food is pretty standard but still super delicious!!

You can not see the fireworks from BOG.

But you sure can hear them! I had to ask our server if there was a dino stomping on the roof. For some reason I couldn't figure out what the heck else that noise could possible be.

The exact same thing has happened with me, multiple times. What is wrong with their website??

If you're having trouble getting a spot, try rounding up to an even number, or try to book for a larger party size ie. If there's 3 in your party, try for a party of 4 or 6. That's worked quite a few times for me, and then I'll call the next day and change my party size over the phone.

I had no trouble getting 8/31 at 180 days. I was on the phone at 7:00 am and got dinner at 7:05 pm first try.

I've only had one bad meal in Disney World and it was at BOG. The steak I got was so cold and raw I had to send it back. And I hate doing that. The steak they gave me next was cooked more but just as cold. And as fast as it came out I knew they must pre-cook their steaks. I would never eat there again.

When we got ADRs for BOG we really weren't expecting the food to be great from the menu. We really just wanted to see what it looked like on the inside more than anything. When we got there though we were seated in the West Wing which was beautiful. I loved the sound of the thunder while eating and watching the rose petals fall was pretty cool. Let me just say the food was awesome. It was the best meal of our entire trip. When it came time for dessert they had a pasion fruit tart that had the same filling as our wedding cake and since it was our one year anniversary it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. When we were done dinner the fireworks had just started. The fireworks can be seen going off right behind the beasts castle. If you are ok with not seeing tinkerbell and having a different castle view this was perfect. Only about 10 people in the whole area. It was truly a magical night. Very worth it especially if you can get an adr at the end of the night.

Even though the site may show you as signed in when you first go to it You need to go to My Dsney Expierence and sign then make your ADRs and you should not have any problems. This happened with the old site too, you would need to sign in even if it did show you were signed in but now with the new site it is important to sign in under MDE.

I am stalking BOG reservations for Dec. Is the only way to book "180+#nts" days out to call in on the phone? When I look online it doesn't look like it will book past exactly 180 days, and it sounds like getting in at 180+4 days makes a big difference in availability.
