BOG automated ressie warning

I made 2 ressies online for BOG and was not asked my cc # while on the automated system.

Despite getting 2 confirmation #, I did not have a good feeling about the ressies.

I just spent another 58 minutes to secure my ressies with a cc.

The cm stated that without a cc #, the ressie would expire at midnight.

Once you call Disney dining, they will transfer you to guest services (or you can try guest services first).

I got a cancellation number & then a new booking number.

Sorry if this has already been posted but I hope it helps someone out.
 
This has been posted but another poster told me that was only for DVC members.

Can anyone confirm this? I am currently on hold (spent two hours this morning getting my ressie) so when and if I get through lol I will try and confirm this :)
 
Yep. You need to call back with your cc number or it will expire at midnight :)

Yep-- You DEFINITELY need to call back, and have the ressie/adr "re-booked" -- It WILL cancel---

I'm a TA in TA world we are calling and adding CC # for clients booked thru IVR. That's been word on the 'net in our circles as well.
