BOG adr opened then closed. I missed it by seconds!

Just want to vent my frustrations. I've been trying several times a day for months to get a BOG dinner for April
It just showed a 5:10 pm perfect! I clicked it feeling a rush of excitement. Only to see an error message. I called disney and someoine grabbed it a second before me. How awful. I feel so sad. I'm losing hope.

I'm so sorry - how frustrating! Online is very glitchy today. Don't give up though as I have been very surprised by some I have been able to snatch last minute because of cancellations. Hopefully another one will open up for you between now and then.

I had a BOG reservation time show up also and got an error when i clicked on it too. How frustrating. I just discovered the Cancellation forum. Hopefully we can find what we need there.

Make sure to subscribe to the cancellation thread with email notifications and go I the website every alert you get otherwise it won't keep u updated. The cancellation thread is how I got the BOG ADR and it's really such a useful forum!

I know the feeling! I almost had a Star Wars Galactic Breakfast for the last weekend - I sat gaping at it for a few seconds before I clicked it. Then had to re-log in for some reason and by that time it was gone! Called the reservation line to try just in case and it really was gone!

That happened to me with 'Ohana the other day. So disappointed. The cancellation threads are the best! Still hoping for a BOG dinner for our trip.

i try several times a day for 6, clicked 6am (11 in uk) as soon as it clicks over no ressies except the occasional 9.25, too late with little grandchildren, plenty for table of two but mothing for 6, frustrating

Yes, they are. I was able to help someone get a BOG ADR for dinner today. It's a very helpful tool.

I've definitely been there too. actually, I've even lost a reservation that I tried to coordinate for through the cancellation boards. just a few weeks ago, even, I tried to coordinate form someone on the board and I didn't even see the ressie show up, it was snatched up so fast.

I think the important thing to remember is that something else will probably show up. and even not, you still get to go to disney world!

OP I am glad you got your ADR. Everyone else please do not lose hope. A couple of weeks before your trip many ADRs will become available. If you have the time I would suggest leaving your laptop open and check every few hours over the weekend 2 weeks before your vacation. You will be amazed at what becomes available. Also try a day before you want to go.

The same thing happened to me last night. I have an ADR for 8:00 PM, but was searching for an earlier one. So I decided to sit down last night and search again. I couldn’t believe my eyes when a timed appeared for 4:55 PM. So I hit the button as fast as I could knowing how quickly it will disappear. I do have another ressie at the same time for a different restaurant as a backup. Instead of getting the message to inform me that I have another reservation, the message appeared that I needed to call Disney to cancel. I have never received that before when trying to make a reservation at the same time. So I tried it again and again, and received the same message. I knew I didn’t have enough time to call and cancel. So I tried again, and finally received the message that I could cancel my original reservation to make the new one. Bingo, thought I had scored. I clicked on yes, it began to circle around and around. I expected to see the next screen asking me who the guest were, and low and behold, I was bounced back to the search screen. I couldn’t believe it! I researched and it was gone!! Talk about having some bad luck. And it wasn’t even Friday the 13th yet!

just out of curiosity i searched again today and was amazed to see one for 8.50 on my wifes birthday and managed to get it, yipee! make sure your logged in first before searching as i forgot last week and missed a early one by the time i signed in, goes to show never give up

I highly recommend the cancellation board here. I can't express how lucky I was to snag a BOG dinner because of it. Considering my trip was booked just days ago for May , you never know. Don't give up ! By consistently checking I even snagged a Star Wars Hollywood and Vine Dinner too for another day. Just be diligent it never hurts to try. Good luck !

After trying to edit down my current reservations, I concluded that if a 6/12 BOG lunch showed up, I'd be able to make 6 cancellations, 3 of them being BOG (2 lunches 6/18 & 20 and a 6/12 dinner). I looked on a whim and saw a 1:30! I clicked it and it had issues - sent me back to the search. Found it again and told it to cancel my existing res at WCC. Then it loaded forever and brought me back to the BOG home page and it was gone. Alas.

As a heads up - As of 2:30am PST I saw several BOG lunch and dinner openings the week of May 8th.9th 10th into that week also on many days. Keep checking everyday if these dates don't work.
I just grabbed a dinner on May 11th with no issues. Good luck

BOG dinner reservations opened up this morning for 4/4-4/8. Lots of good times out there right now!
