Can someone explain how you use these? Where do you put the Body Glide? Is it sticky? Can you feel it once it's on?

Does the moleskin go on your shoe or on your foot? If the answer is on your foot, how do you get it off with all that adhesive? Doesn't it hurt to take it off if you've put it on already tender skin?

Thanks!

I have not used moleskin since I discovered Bodyglide. I slather it on my feet, between my toes, and on my anklebones and have not had so much as a "hot spot" since I started using it. I put it on once and then wore Crocs with no socks and that didn't work...it felt YUCK!!!

Moleskin goes on your foot. Basically when you are feeling a warm spot (i.e. the potential beginnings of a blister) cut a piece big enough to cover the spot. Then stick the moleskin to the spot. I was able to walk around all day wearing socks & sneakers without the moleskin coming off. When I got back to my room at the very end of the day, I was able to pull the moleskin off very easily. Basically, I used a new piece of moleskin every day. I also used body glide and rubbed it all over both of my feet. Maybe I should have done a better job on my toes because that was where I needed to use the moleskin. Once I did use the moleskin, blisters did not develop! With the body glide, I didn't have any problems with my heels, ankles, or the bottom of my feet.

Love body glide, I brought mole skin with us but I did not need it because the body glide worked so well!!! Have a great trip, I still switched my shoes in the afternoon so my feet did not get soar, that was also a good tip that I got on here. I had realy good sneakers and my crocks. I wore my sneakers for a majorty of the day and my crocks at night. Crocks are so ugly but they are so comfy!!!:goodvibes

Yup, me too! Moleskin was pre-Bodyglide. I do not use it anymore. It came in handy but didn't always work as it can move before the day is through and clump together and then cause a blister!

But I did want to mention something interesting I read from a moleskin user a long time ago. She put moleskin on the inside of her shoe instead and said it worked great! I haven't tried it because I wear sandals and I don't think it would work that great with sandals getting wet.

Love Bodyglide!

Moleskin's good for other things too. I found a hole in my shoe where the material had worn away and it was starting to cause a blister on the ball of my foot. So, I cut a piece of moleskin to cover the hole. I put it in the shoe itself and it worked wonders. No blister and I always got a blister there after walking the parks.
