bobbing for apples is great...if you can go first. You know when the faces get wet, the noses start dripping, and, well you know the rest. I have no desire to stick my head into that mess.

suck blow...you took a quarter and sucked in air pressure to hold it on your mouth...you then went to the next person who was in the circle and they sucked while you blew to transfer the quarter to their mouth...they turned to the next player...and so on and so on...you went boy girl boy girl of course

I never heard of suck blow and think it totally blows that I missed out on what sounds like a great game!

As far as the bobbing for apples I hadn't thought about it but, my kids have never done that! I did and thankfully was young enough that I wasn't thinking about snot and spit in the tub.

Thinking about it more, I think this is super sanitary compared to "suck blow" the game you played with quarters....

I know you explained it later, but "suck blow" sound like a "game" involving a bunch of 12 - 15 year old kids, the girls with different colored lipstick, and the boys giving out bracelets as "prizes".


I have never bobbed for apples - I don't recall ever being at a party where that was one of the games. I think it sounds kind of grody, especially if you are not the first one to go.
