) and this was one of the places we could get last minute so we decided to try it. It ended up being perfect for us. It was not very crowded and was pretty quiet. Both girls had fallen asleep and they allowed us to have a corner table so we could park the stroller and not disturb them. We had an absolutely wonderful meal. The service was excellent and our food was delicious. My hubby had the tenderloins and I had the pasta with shrimp, with pecan pie and apple pie for dessert. We loved all parts of our meal, and they packed up our girls' meals for us to go, including a special birthday dessert. They also tied balloons on our stroller for each of them. We had a great experience and would not hesitate to go back; in fact, it was the one place my hubby requested for our next trip.I wouldn't say Boatwright's was bad, I just didn't think it was particularly good.
It certainly isn't, in my opinion, worth a visit if you're not already at Port Orleans. If you are staying at Port Orleans, it's an acceptable option if you don't want to leave the resort, but really, there are simply much better choices out there.
