Boatwright's ???

It's OK. Not bad, but not exceptional. If you are staying at POR, it is a good option if you don't feel like running around.

IMO, though, it's not worth a special trip if you are staying at another resort. (It's really good for breakfast, though!)

:confused3 my dad and step mom ate there last week for dinner and said it was awful and overpriced !

Good to know. We're staying at POR but don't want to waste a dinner if it's not good.

We ate at Boatwrights last year and the food was good. We always get to a point that we want some "down-home food" (pot roast, creamed potatoes, etc), and we like Boatwrights better than 50's Prime Time.

Eat there a few years ago. It was good for us I had a steak it was good.

We ate dinner there Nov 2003 and enjoyed all of our meals immensely. It's been too long to remember what we ate. We ate dinner there March 2005 and it was ok but not great. I had a ravioli dish that wasn't "bad" but I thought was bland and my son hated his catfish and that's the first time he's turned down catfish ever. Breakfasts are the best I've ever had anywhere, blueprint omlettes and sweet potato pancakes are totally fabulous.
So my rating would be
Dinner ...ehhh why not if you're already there
Breakfast... I don't care where you're staying you should get there and check it out

My boyfriend and I have eaten dinner there twice and LOVED it!

We really enjoyed a meal there this last time, but they had the biggest portions of all of the restaurants we ate at and I could only eat a small amount of a the gorgeous pot roast. It would have fed 4 I think.

We love to eat at Boatwrights. It is probably our second favorite resort restaurant at WDW. The food has always been good and the quantity is huge. We had slow service once but that was because the entire restaurant was understaffed and the servers had to take care of too many tables but that hasn't happened recently.

We had breakfast there and enjoyed it! The stuffed French Toast was sooooooooo good, and the service was good too. If we stay at POR again, we'd eat Boatwrights again without hesitation.

By far the best meal we had the entire trip this past December. we do at least one TS a day and ate at a lot of different places. Ate there on the spur of the moment because we did not feel like leaving the resort and we were so glad we did. Large protions and something for everyone. Can't wait to go back. :cheer2:

We ate there in Dec (it was a last minute decision) we had a good meal. (Better than Captn Jacks and LTT) We both had the prime rib, both were done as we had requested. I like mine well done and dh likes his rare like normal prime rib. It was very flavorful. I had the garlic cheese bites for an app and they were really good. The milkyway cheese cake was great and I took it to go. We would go back again. It was great service and good food.
