Boatwrights anyone been lately?

Used to love Boatwrights years back. Went about a year ago and wasn’t impressed but the new menu looks interesting to me. I realize any restaurant can have an off night or maybe I just ordered wrong last time. I always love visiting Port Orleans and really Boatwrights holds a special place for me, it was the first Disney restaurant I ever ate at my first ever time to Disney many years ago. Anyway was wondering if anyone has had dinner there lately and their opinion? Starting to plan out my next trip meals

We ate there in Dec...it was one of the best meals we had that week. I definitely will be going back!
We had the Mardi Gras Fritters & the Boudin balls to start. For dinner my son had the Blackened Prime rib and I had the Taste of the Bayou and for dessert we split the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding....there was not one dish that we didn't love or wouldn't order again!

I've never eaten at Boatwrights, but read a lot of reviews since we are staying at Port Orleans in May. The general consensus is that it used to not be very good, but since the menu was revamped, it has been getting rave reviews.
