We are staying at the CBR and was wondering about those racy mouse boats, price fun?? deals???

They are a lot of fun!!! I believe they were around $20 for 30 minutes. If you can manage to rent one at one of the MK resorts (WL, POLY, CR or GF) it might be more fun than at CBR. Lots of places to explore over there. Don't know of any deals except for an AP discount of 15%.....

DH & DS rented the Sea Raycers a couple of weeks ago at WL. They paid $24 each including tax for 30min.

The boats hold two people (but probably not two Pooh sized people). They are WAY FUN and I recommend renting from Ft Wilderness or ilderness Lodge. If you aren't used to driving a boat, you have the larger "lake" with less traffic to practice on for a bit, then you can head over to the "lagoon" for the MK and resort views. We had the AP discount and went for the full hour. It's now one of my 'must dos'.

I have information about the boats at CBR in the FAQ II listed below. Look at the first post. That is where the boat information is located. Boating on CBR lake is fun. The boats aren't as fast as on Bay Lake but you can still have a great time.

is there an age requirement on the boats - my DD is 15 and DS is 12 ?

A child must be at least 12 years old and at least 5-feet tall to drive the mouseboats.

All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.

I thought I read somewhere that you could get a package for the water sports, bicycle rental etc at CBR. Has anyone heard of this? Has anyone done it?

:cool1: Safetymom you are the best! :cheer2:

What do you think of this plan? Is it worth it? What about boat and bike availiabilty?

It said that boats must be rented only at CBR marina but could we do this at another resort also?

Plenty of boats and bikes. We have done this a number of times. Each resort has their own plan.

I think they changed the age requirement for renting the sea ray boats on Bay Lake to 16. A CM at the Yacht Club dock told us that the sea ray boats are faster and the age was upped. He also said the water mouse boats from the Yacht Club were still the old slow ones, so anyone 12 and up can drive.

Not sure about the other locations.

A kinda dumb question but can you stay at one resort and get the weekly rental package at another resort?

Bump....anybody, anybody????

I'd like to know the answer to this also.....

The Captain's Plan......does this mean 4 hours per day for the length of your stay?

Bump Again.......

Has anybody rented boats with either the Family Plan or Captain's Plan lately?

Thanks!

We rented these last October from CR. We asked for the AAA discount and I believe it was 20% off.

By the way, this was the highlight of our trip. My kids still talk about it and when we go again in Aug. this is definitely on our list of things to do!

My daughter is 12 and was able to drive, which she thought was SO cool. She did great too!

We stay at the BC/YC and do the family plan at GF. Our DS's love it and they go every day for about an hour. We use AP and get 15% off .
