Boat transportation to downtown Disney?

Can anyone tell me if the boat transportation to downtown Disney has started again?? We have mobility issues and the boats are much more convenient than the buses. Thank you.

No. There are no boats running between SSR or OKW and Disney Springs. There haven’t even been any rumors as to when they may start up again. I think it’s too difficult to have social distancing at the boat launch from OKW, so that’s probably what’s holding them back from starting it. The line would stretch down the main walkway and would get in the way with people going to the restaurants, stores, pool, or just checking in. Plus, with both Port Orleans closed indefinitely, that takes a big chunk of the boat population out of the equation. I wouldn’t bank on those boats coming back until capacity is increased and social distancing is gone.
