Boat to HDDR

To go from Contemporary Resort to HDDR on NYE -

do you take the boat from the CR marina or the marina by the MK entrance?

You can do it either way, Fort Wilderness has 2 boat routes, one goes to the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and back, the other goes to the MK and back. I can imagine that the MK boat would be really crowded on NYE and you may have to wait on a second boat (which would probably mean adding on an extra 30 minutes as they run on about a 20 minute schedule and it's about a 10 minute ride); it's the only direct transportation between the Fort and MK, there is no bus.

It would depend on what time you're going to hoop-dee-doo, if it's an earlier show the best way would be the blue route from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge/Ft. Wilderness. If it's later though you might have to take the green route from Ft. Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom on your return.

The CR>WL>FW route runs till 11:45 most nights. You should of course always check the signage on the dock for the most accurate info, since routes and time can change.
