Boat to DTD?

Does OKW have boat transportation to DTD? We are waitlisted for our first night at BWV, and we are debating a studio at AKV or OKW for that night if the waitlist doesn't come through. If we can boat to DTD, we might try OKW as our flight gets in at 7, and we have dinner reservations at Planet Hollywood at 9:45.

Yup. There is a boat loop that runs from DTD to SSR and then to OKW. We have stayed at both of those resorts several times. Very pleasant ride!

There should be a sign on the dock for the times the boat will run between Old Key West and Downtown Disney. Check it when you arrive.

With the addition of the THV dock, the boat loop is no more. Separate boats for OKW and SSR.

Actually, OKW has it's own boat to DTD. You no longer have to stop at SSR first.

And the OKW boat stops at the Pleasure Island boat dock at DTD, which is convenient if you are going to Planet Hollywood.

Here's a map of DTD (it's an old map since it shows the nightclubs).
On the map, there is a brown colored building to the right of the Adventurer's Club. The dock is on the right of that building (which is now a restaurant).

HoB is on the Westside - across from Cirque. Is there still a boat dock there?? I don't know.

We ate at HoB in June - we had a 20% off coupon from our Cirque tickets. I believe there is a DVC discount. Plus www.restaurants.com has discount GC. Have fun - we had basic burgers and enjoyed them. Our waiter was very good.

Sorry for the misinformation! We've only had one trip to SSR since the THV... and it was cut to a day and a half so we could get home ahead of an impending blizzard, so we didn't make it to DTD using the boats. Glad to know about the new routes. Thanks!

Yes, there is still a boat dock on the Westside by HoB, but it's only used by the DtD boat that connects MarketPlace, Pleasure Island, and Westside.

The SSR and OKW boats dock at Pleasure Island.
The Riverside and French Quarter boats dock at the MarketPlace.
The DtD boat circles between all 3 docks.

Do you know why that is, we would much rather go to the marketplace having to mess about with 2 boats with a power chair is no fun so we no longer use them

I am pretty sure that the last boat is at 11:00 PM. When they added the THV boat dock, they changed the boat routes to make them more efficient.

I use a ECV and changing boats isn't to bad for me. Sometimes I don't use the second boat when I go to the Market Place I just take in all of the sights and people watch along the way.

That does seem to fluctuate a little during the various times of the year. I think it most often only runs until 11PM or Midnight, but not 100% sure about that.
