Boat service to DS from SSR?

Does anyone know if they are running the ferry again from SSR to Disney Springs?

Not yet. Speculation is that it might start soon since Port Orleans - Riverside is scheduled to reopen on 10/14. Followed by French Quarter on 10/28.

Not yet. Rumors are, though, that boat service to/from DS (OKW, PO, SSR) is getting closer and could be back within the next couple weeks. We're hoping that the rumors are accurate. Best info seems to indicate it could be tied to PO reopening.

Yes. We took it the other day.
Unfortunately it takes you to the bridge between SSR and the Marketplace and then the only entry you can get into the Disney Springs area is all the way over at Earl of Sandwich. Not very convenient at all!

I wondered how they would handle that. That would be the cheapest way (no additional security needed) and is, unfortunately, the closest entry from SSR Congress Park.

There was no security before when the boats dropped people off by the Hanger Bar. Hopefully when the Orleans Resorts open, the DVC boats start using the other landing.
