Boat Rentals and Returns

DO BOAT RENTALS NEED TO BE RETURNED TO THE SAME LOCATION AS WHERE YOU GOT THEM?
Our family is staying at POR next year and I was wondering if you could rent a boat @ DTD to go back to the resort, or vice versa?

I should have prefaced by saying that I am aware that there are shuttle boats between the two locations.

"Yes" they need to be returned to the same place or "Yes" I can rent a boat at DTD and retrun it at POR???

YES they need to go back where they started. They are not meant for transport but fun
