Boat or walk?

I realize that this topic was probably covered in older threads, but since I'm relatively new to these boards . . . I'll ask it again with an upfront apology for being late to the valuable discussions I've found here. We are staying at the PBH and want to take advantage of the pre-hour access into WWHP this Sunday, 5-22. For an 8 a.m. early entry, what time does the first boat leave the hotel? And, is it more efficient to walk from our hotel to IOA? I'm guessing that arriving at the IOA gates at about 7:15 or 7:30 is advisable, correct? Thanks much.

I want to say boats start 1 hour before early entry but don't hold me to that. I enjoyed the boat rides back and forth but you do lose ground time waiting for the boat.

I remember trying to walk the first day and it took a lot longer than the other two hotels maybe 10-15 minutes an I walk semi-fast. However I have since learned that there is a shortcut through the HRH parking lot but someone else will have to fill you in on the details.
