Boat or Bus from VWL?

During our last trip we stayed at BCV and really enjoyed taking the boat over to MGM. While there we visited Whispering Canyon for dinner and thought it would be fun to take the boat over to MK. The line was so long that we decided to drive instead. Are long lines and a long wait the norm for the boat? We thought that this would be a great way to get around.

We have often eaten at Artist Point and taken the boat to MK. The worst wait we had with the boat was after the fireworks at the MK. I think we had to wait for 3 boats or maybe we sqeezed onto the second boat. That was the only problem we ever had, in probably 6 visits/uses of boats to MK.

It varies, much like the waits for busses. We really enjoy the boat rides all over the property. What a relaxing way to come and go!

A word of warning though. If you have a wheelchair the boats can be challenging. This is particularly so when crowded and/or when it is windy.

My wife loves the whole boat thing. Even when it's cold she wants to be in front with the wind whipping through her do.
