Boat from the Fort to MK?

We will be there next week and are planning on being at MK around 7am and getting everything done as early as possible since the crowds have been so bad! At this time in the morning is the boat going, and is this still the best and fastest way to get to MK this early?

Boats start running about 1 hour before MK opening.

Unless the MK boats start running earlier for an earlier opening, the way to get to MK that early is to take the small launch to the Contemporary, then walk to the MK.

The small launches start at 6:45 am.

Note that the walk from the Contemporary dock to the MK turnstiles is about 3/4 mile, so figure that in to your time.

Wait i'm confused,MK is the only park I know of opening that early (7am) I thought I should be there no later than 6:45 the small launch doesn't even start til then. So should I take the bus, the boat or what?

If MK is doing morning EMH take the direct boat to MK from the Fort. It will start running about 6am.

In another boat question but slightly off topic...is there a boat from the TTC to fort wilderness or just from the MK boat dock??? We want to go to the fort for dinner and are trying to figure the easiest way there, and we will have a car if you think that is easiest just to park at the fort, but I heard you have to park and then take a bus into the campground??? Any advice is welcome!

The easiest way is by boat, either from MK (at times the boats could have a long line here) or the Contemporay Resort or The Wilderness Lodge to The Fort dock if you are coming from the lake area. If you're coming from other resorts driving to the overflow lot and taking a bus is probably easier
