Boat from OKW?

I’m wondering if they’ll have the boats going to DS. Thoughts? We are considering going before the parks open and would like to be able to access DS this way.

I’m curious about this as well. I‘m really hoping they will be available. I think that will be our only transportation option. I mean what if someone doesn't have a car?

The boats, if running, don't start until after 10 am. and if stormy weather, will not run at all. There is a bus if you need to go earlier or in the rain.

If you want to go to DS before that parks open, you can walk on the path.

I was thinking since everyone needs to be screened before entering DS that they would close access points (path, boats) and have everyone go through the same checkpoint.

I don't know for sure but I'm thinking the boats would be open so people could easily get to DS for dinning options. Just my guess.

We are not going till November but and will be staying at SSR and RR. I was wondering the same thing.

DH andI love to go over to monorail resorts and take the boat to dinner at WL. I hope by then things are more accessible. Fingers crossed.

This would be my concern. Unless they relax the screening process, or add screening locations at the boat docks and path entrance, I would think the only access to DS would be by car, uber/lyft/minnievan, bus (assuming that the buses are running.), or the pedestrian entrance over by hotel plaza blvd.

As of right now access is denied from walking paths. The only way to enter is through the garages and the Uber/Lift drop off. Maybe they will open a few more screening points.

How do you do that if you don't have a car, hardly seems fair that SSR owners would have to hire Uber/Lyft to get to garage when it's a short walk.

Could be this will change once the resorts are open. I agree it seems silly for a resort guest at SSR to have to drive, Uber/Lyft or take a bus to current entrance spots. I guess we all have to standby until this all gets sorted out.

I am curious about the boats too.

I am at OKW for 3 nights starting June 22nd.

And we know for a fact that walking path to DS is def a no go?
