Boat From MK to Fort Wilderness?

Is there a boat from the MK to Fort Wilderness. We are going to be at the MK and then go to the HDDR. I read somewhere that there is a boat. How long is the walk from the docks to the HDDR?

Just curious as most say it is hard to get to the HDDR by bus.

Yes, there is a boat and YES ride it! You get on the boat right in front of the MK and it is a very short walk from the dock where you are dropped off to the HDDR! It is so much more fun than the bus!!

We always stayed at Fort Wilderness growing up... and the boat ride to and from the Magic Kingdom is something I remember fondly. Take it and enjoy!
